Easy communication with the owner. He offered to arrange the ZTL for our rental car, which is well appreciated as that takes away one problem to handle. Parking was about 7mns away from the property by feet which is great as not too far. Perfect place in the middle of the town. Would recommend.
Very big room and very nice bathroom
Can be noisy at night but to be expected as it is located in a busy street.

An amazing location tucked into the heart of Ortigia! We parked in the lot by the Palace Hotel and walked to the apartment, it was easy and beautiful, you pass right by the Temple of Apollo ruins and go down a picturesque side street with restaurants and shops. The host was very responsive and the check-in packet is quite clearly laid out and helpful. The room is lovely and clean with a nice shower. A perfect stay!

Amazingly well located, it's literally a few steps away from Ortigia's iconic Diane fountain. The owner was communicative and dealt with getting the ZTL pass for our car for us, which was appreciated. The rooms are small, bathrooms are large for european standards though and decent. It was quiet.
Pillows are lumpy. Towels have clearly seen better days. The biggest deal breaker for us is that to reach or leave the room you need to go through 4 separate locked doors/entrances every single time. Not only is it annoying, we only got one set of keys, so basically if someone stayed in the room while the other person was going out, they were effectively "locked in". This seems dangerous in case there's a fire, flood, earthquake or similar as we didn't see any emergency exits. Just due to this, we wouldn't stay here again.
