Very quirky place in a good way.
Location is in the heart of Tewkesbury, I think the name Abbey Hotel gives it away.

I loved the location. The hotel is well placed for walking along the riverside, Abbey and the high street. The service of the staff and landlady was very good and welcoming. She looked after us well. She offered tea and coffee in the morning for no additional cost..Having a free Car park was wonderful.
Our room window was right above the exhaust of the restaurant below. Thus, kitchen cooking smells continued till late evening. The room carpets could do with some update. The shower was a disappointment ie there was not enough (hot) water pressure to have a comfortable shower.
