Great location opposite Tewkesbury abbey.Top marks to the staff who were really helpful, jolly and friendly.Restaurant was very attractive and cosy. Excellent breakfast.

No lift to bedroom's on first floor. No comfortable chairs in bedroom although plenty of room for some.

The Room in the Annex was very clean and comfortable. The Reception was very friendly & welcoming.

There was a hair line crack in the sink - maybe on the maintenance schedule for repair? The main light could have been a brighter led light bulb for my preference.

Excellent stay in a very interesting place

Breakfast was a very pleasant experience good food and excellent service from the staff. The hotel is wonderfully central giving easy access to many of the historic and cultural places.

The mattress on my bed was a little too soft although I did get a good nights sleep.

A relaxing stay in a friendly and comfortable hotel

The breakfast was extremely good, perfectly cooked, with plenty of choice and served by a friendly and attentive waitress. Our room was clean, with a spacious ensuite and the luxury of a heated towel rail. We could see the beautiful abbey from our window. The location was perfect for visiting Tewkesbury and the surrounding area.

Our only issue was that we asked at Reception, on arrival, whether we needed to book for our evening meal in the restaurant, and were told that it wasn't necessary. On our first evening, the restaurant was fully booked, so we had to go elsewhere. We booked for the following two evenings!

Very good lady who served our breakfast all 4 days of our stay.

Very tired property which needs updating. Dirty carpets and too much air freshener used to try and cover up smells. Grumpy reception when we went for evening meal and so we didn't dine there again.

An average British hotel chain.

A good location near the Abbey and the town. The vegan breakfast was excellent and the lady on duty was cheerful and efficient even though she was the only one on taking orders, serving and clearing the tables. The dining room and the bar area were very comfortable. Our room bed was clean and comfortable and as requested we were given a room with a walk in shower.

About half the food and drinks we asked for were not available. Bad planning and ordering on the part of the management. The bar and dining room were understaffed. In our room the shower head needed replacing because the water was coming out of the sides. The toilet paper was of poor quality which was a false economy.

Great stop off for one night on our way down to Devon.

Great location to explore Tewkesbury. Staff very helpful and friendly. Joy on reception gave us lots of information about the town. Enjoyed the food we had in the restaurant. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Tewksbury

The staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially want to thank Yasmine for her superb service at breakfast times. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring the the area.

We did notice there was no offer of help getting up or down the stairs with luggage, which for anyone having difficulty would have been good. Also, the stair carpet was very dirty it could do with a good clean. The mattress on our bed was rather lumpy, so it was not an especially good sleep.

Hotel in a great location at the end of the high street and near all facilities. Wedding party there when we arrived but did not affect service at the bar or in the restaurant and staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Enjoyed both evening meal and breakfast, food was very excellent and reasonably priced, would recommend. Room was large with adequate space and bathroom. Slept well but the building is old so creaky floorboards along corridors in the morning are to be expected. Great outside space with free parking

Location is great, with free parking. The breakfast is excellent with a very good choice. For a single room (no. 17), it was very spacious albeit a little basic.

Some areas of the hotel are a little tired, but this didn't spoil the stay.

Breakfasts are always very good, fresh, and good choices. Cheers to the lady that runs it! Beds and all linen clean and very comfy. Room is a little tired in decor but perfectly serviceable for our nights stay. (Rm 24 tv aerial connector needs attention btw) Parking was a little tight atm due to 'works' unfortunately, but we managed.

Check in was quick and staff were pleasant and efficient.

Booked this hotel because it had parking. Unfortunately when we arrived there were no spaces on the hotel car park and had to pay to park on a nearby car park! Had a shower in the morning, adjusted the hot and cold water to a reasonable temperature, however during the shower the cold water went off and the hot water was near scalding!! This happened for both myself and my husband! I’m amazed neither of us were scalded!!
