Very cute cottage, nice layout, well equipped, wonderful comfy beds and bedding, beautiful countryside, and my favourite thing was the water quality was amazing. However, it's quite dark downstairs and we needed the lights on bright mornings, the main bedroom is light but no view as velux windows. Unfortunately there was a strong dank musty smell downstairs and we had to have the door and windows open all day and evening, I think perhaps a plumbing issue from the washing machine but the dresser cupboard nearest smells too.

Our family enjoyed a beautiful stay in your gorgeous barn conversion. We were welcomed with a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers. The cottage had everything our family needed for a relaxing stay. Fresh towels and linen were provided along with wood for the fire and everything in the kitchen. We loved everything about our stay from the sweet touches of sheep in each room to the wake up call from the cows. Booking, check-in, and check-out couldn’t be easier. Communication with the host was always easy and timely. Thank you Christine and Shaun for a beautiful stay!

We stayed for four nights as our daughter is at Exeter University and had a reading week. We were able to have some great days visiting the area and have a chilled out and relaxed time. Property was very nice in a great location and handy to get around. Would recommend to similar people or to anyone wanting to explore South Devon. Great Stay!

The property was very nice and as good as expected.Well equipped bar a dodgy can opener and a rather difficult ceramic hob for someone who has never used one. Peaceful location, close to a local pub and the only downside a barking dog early in the morning. The hostess responded immediately to any problems.

We were really surprised at how lovely the barn conversion was. Although it is a little off the beaten track it is ideal for exploring the area so close to all the busy commute roads, It is so quiet in the countryside you can really chill. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to visit again

Our extended stay at The Barn was all we hoped it would be and an excellent reintroduction to life in the UK. Christine and Shaun are terrific hosts, aided and abetted by Tango the cat who loves his tickles and sheep who deserve a role in any remake of "The Great Escape"

We loved staying at this farm! Beautiful scenery and quiet but close enough to town. The inside is an adorable cottage, and very clean and tidy. There is a kitchen, we cooked some meals, two bathrooms and two large bedrooms upstairs. If we go to Exeter again we would love to stay here again. The owners are very kind. They are available if you need anything.

This is our second time staying. It is a lovely cottage in excellent location, you are deep in the countryside but also very close to the city of Exeter so the best of both Worlds. No negatives, all good. My only criticism (not really) is that there were 2 lovely sheep soft toys at the property, and my 3 year old son took a liking to them and decided that they were coming home with us. I lost count of the amount of times that we had to dig the sheep out of his suitcase... He was determined to have them, but he didn't succeed at the end, we checked! Now more seriously, thanks for everything, lovely stay.
