Lovely hosts, fresh bread and cream tea upon arrival. Clean and comfy annexe. Had a wonderful stay with our baby. Also a perfect location to explore Dartmoor for a few days.

We have stayed at Clarendon before and the accommodation is very comfortable and exceptionally well kitted out. Helen and Neil are excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect for us, as we were visiting family nearby, but it is also a great location for anyone visiting dartmoor and the Torbay area.

Perfect location, very comfortable, Helen & Neil are very friendly hosts, attention to detail was very much appreciated! Kitchen had everything we needed, fresh eggs, fresh bread, cream tea and milk were a thoughtful touch for our arrival. Hoping to stay again next year.

The annexe was very comfortable and well equipped. The hosts had provided homemade bread and a cream tea for us on arrival. There were vases of fresh flowers throughout the annexe. Very welcoming.

Excellent and we very much look forward to staying again

We had a most enjoyable stay at the The Annex at Clarendon. Helen and Neil went out of their way to make us feel at home. The property was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped for self-catering. We will definitely be visiting again, and the location is ideal for long walks to some spectacular scenery.

As a very minor point, I found the bed a little on the soft side, but I am used to hard mattresses. Otherwise, it is very hard to find fault with the property.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved our stay at Clarendon House in the annexe, from the moment we got there we were spoilt with homemade afternoon tea, fresh bread and eggs. This place is an actual slice of heaven! The bed is so comfortable, the place was spotless and the hosts were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we could possibly need. I didn’t want to leave! We’ll definitely be staying here again :)

Lovely stay in Bovey Tracey

The location was great, 30 minutes from lots of places such as Torquay, Paignton, Dartmoor zoo and Totnes. Bovey Tracey is a lovely village, great variety of places to eat, we had fish and chips, Indian and Chinese and visited a couple of the pubs. There's a great park for the kids and lots of lovely little boutique shops. The hosts of the annexe, Neil and Helen were great, we had a fresh loaf and cream tea waiting for us, as well as fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden. The bed and sofa bed were really comfortable. The place was very clean. They have some dog's that come out and great you, and a lovely cat that loved to sit and wait for us by the door for a fuss. Thanks Neil and Helen, we'll definitely be back.

First trip to Devon

Personal preference bed a little hard for me and the noise from the adjoining house was a little more than we like after 10pm on a couple of occasions That aside we would definitely stay again.

Excellent hosts couldn't do enough. Great location and accomodation.

Short stay in Bovey Tracey

Lovely lovely little apartment. Hosts had the perfect balance of being friendly but giving you privacy. Freshly baked bread and scones on arrival. Great places to eat and walk just a short distance from the house and all main locations such as Torquay and Dartmoor etc easily accessible. Cannot recommend enough.

A small but clean and comfortable apartment, very well equipped, and run by a friendly and generous hostess. The cake on arrival. fresh eggs from the hens, and a loaf of home made bread made us feel most welcome. Very conveniently located for a stroll into the town centre, and a short drive from the moors.

Excellent stay on the doorstep of Dartmoor

The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well furnished. The kitchen has all the basics, the bed is super comfy, and the place has a very cozy feeling. Helen was a great host and very friendly, she welcomed at arrival with cream tea and even left us homemade bread the following morning. The location is simply perfect to explore Dartmoor and South Devon, with the bonus of a parking space. I can definitely recommend this!

Good central location for Dartmoor and coast.

Light and airy with lovely garden. Hosts very friendly and welcoming. Homemade bread and cream tea were most welcome along with fresh eggs from hens in the garden.
