Collett House and Lavender Cottage

I loved the location of the cottage. It was conveniently situated just five minutes from the main activities, making it easy to explore the area. The mountain views in the morning were spectacular and created a peaceful start to each day. The property was also quiet, safe, and well-positioned for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil getaway.

There were a few aspects of the accommodation that could be improved. The room did not have a television, which would have enhanced the overall guest experience. The bed was also uncomfortable, and the frame squeaked whenever we turned during the night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. In addition, the sliding door was difficult to open from the outside due to it being old and rusted, and it would benefit from maintenance. We also noticed ants on the table during our stay, which suggests that additional pest control and housekeeping measures may be needed. Addressing these issues would significantly improve the comfort and overall experience for future guests.

The cottage was lovely. It is as per the listing and the host is very responsive for any questions you have.

they had a stove in the apartment which a world of difference since clarens is really cold, and the manager's help really helped out with wood.

the stove is really old but works. the parking area is small the facility is a bit far from the main town
