Staff were unaware of our booking for our first stay but dealt with this situation extremely well and quickly. Room slightly less than perfectly clean but comfortable and the staff were outstanding. Mugg and Bean next door is a full restaurant not as the name suggests a coffee shop.

Didn't expect much due to location and price but exceeded expectations. Great, quiet, clean, comfy rooms. We were at the back of the hotel so not sure if quiet applies to the front! Tea and coffee facilities, well stocked with toiletries and very comfy beds after a long drive. No food in hotel but discount at Mugg and Bean next door. Only down side was blown bulb in one of the lamps and the hot and cold taps in the shower were actually the opposite. Hotel staff very helpful and gave us a wonderful route to Jobug through the Golden Gate National Park, which was a joy after the monotonous motorways.

First room previous guests had been smoking and we asked to be moved - A very helpful James (Scottish Gent) could not have been more helpfull - BIG thank you James.
