The great location close to town, but still with a cottage feel and beautiful garden with the mountain and stream to make you feel like you are out in the country. The lovely warm anthrocite heaters and oil heaters made it very cosy in freezing temperatures.
We didn't have water one evening and one morning, but the owners were very responsive on this and resolved the issue quickly. It would be nice to have keys for the sliding security gate upstairs, especially since we were travelling with a toddler and this is the family unit.

The cabin was very cosy and right by a running stream at a quiet corner of Clarens. There was everything needed in th cabin for a self-sustained stay and a welcome panel heater and gas heater option, and a wonderful electric blanket !

Comfortable and clean beds
Overall it was so small. Bathroom was hard to move around it. Dad could not get in and out the bath. No hand shower. Kitchenette was tiny. No work space. Not even sharp knife. Host only communicated via WhatsApp. Didn’t see host only cleaning lady was friendly
