About this apartment rental

Garden View is ideally situated, between Dartmoor National Park and the English Riviera, near Newton Abbot with its easy access to main line railway and motorway networks.
The property is a mid 18th Century Apple Barn that was converted to living accommodation in the 1960’s.
The apartment has retained some of its original stone features making it cool in summer and cosy in winter, with an electric log burner in the lounge and gas central heating in each room.
The apartment is on ground level and has been refurbished to a high standard and includes all the facilities to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Very quiet and private. Barely heard the hosts upstairs. We had some difficulty finding the place. It sits back from the road behind other buildings. Parking is off street, but a bit difficult to maneuver by backing down the driveway with a sharp angle to reach the designated parking space. Very clean and updated apartment with everything you need. Grocery store is a short walk. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Beautiful garden and view over the country side. Very pleasant and peaceful stay.

A very well maintained property in a good local area near to public transport. Only thing missing was a dvd player not keen on Netflix. Very comfortable large bed, good shower and nice garden. Cream tea was much appreciated would stay again and recommend to otgers.

The apartment is spacious and clean and had everything we needed during our stay. It overlooks a very pretty and well maintained garden and is situated in a very quaint village. The apartment is within walking distance of local amenities (shops, bus stops and restaurants) and is well situated to visit Torquay, Paignton and Brixham by car. We received a nice welcome from the owners alongside some tasty scones and jam. The apartment is in a very peaceful location and we enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

There is really nothing to fault with this place. When I arrived I was greeted by name, the place was spotless and warm and ready for me to move in for my stay. The owners were simply wonderful and just let me get on with it, but were handy on site if I needed them. I would definitely reccomend this place to anyone who needs a place to stay to explore what the wonderful county of Devon has to offer.

We've just got home after a great stay. We had a very busy week and the apartment was perfectly placed for us to get to all the places we needed to get to easily. Great apartment, very nice people. Everything you need plus a few extra unexpected treats such as cream tea and chocolates for Easter. I would say one thing and that is, the pictures do not do this apartment justice, it's much better than the pictures show. We will return.

We're so glad we discovered Garden View Apartment. We needed somewhere convenient when visiting an elderly relative in South Devon, and this is just the place: we had no hesitation in coming back here. So spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed to look after ourselves for a few days. The hosts' attention to detail is exemplary, so we felt we were having a holiday, not just on a visit of duty. Who needs hotels!

The whole of this apartment has been finished to a high standard and there is ample room for two people. It was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The owners provided us with a cream tea on arrival and there were also some tea bags, coffee and sugar sachets, a carton of long-life milk, washing up liquid and sponge, and a full soap dispenser in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners themselves were very hospitable without being intrusive - a perfect combination.
