Absolutely perfect. It has everything you want, plus so many extras, homemade brownies, abundance of tea coffee (great quality coffee pods), not like most hotels where you get enough for maybe two cups each.
Wish I had written this review sooner, but we stayed for two nights just before Christmas with our 10 month German Shepherd, and manic period after.
Can't rate this place highly enough. Best way to describe what is there: Rosie and Mark must have lived in this place for at least a week before letting it out - if you need something, it is there

Nothing was really a problem but the door into the bathroom was tight to the toilet but not something that could be changed and once you got used to it, it really wasn’t a problem.

A gem of a place to stay , immaculate and everything you need.
The hosts were great with communicating with us about directions etc. The Nook was easy to find and walking distance to local shops. There is parking on the drive as well.
Mark met us on arrival and explained where everything was and how things worked. Rosie left us a delicious GF brownie which was much appreciated. There was also fresh milk, tea/coffee etc. The accommodation was immaculate and smelt very clean. The kitchen had everything needed, the bed was comfy and the shower was lovely. We couldn’t fault anything. The garden area was available to use but unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t use it.
The Nook really is a lovely place to stay and there were lots of lovely personal touches, including a personalised guest book with lots of useful information. Totally recommended and we would visit again.

Very convenient location, a couple of minutes off the A38. Easy to walk into town for pubs, shops, takeaways. Lovely patio and garden area. Hosts were friendly and the brownies were delicious, thank you very much!

Staying at The Nook was, without a doubt, the best room rental experience we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, hosts Mark and Rosie made us feel incredibly welcome, going above and beyond with thoughtful touches that truly elevated our stay. They struck the perfect balance of being available if needed, yet completely respectful of our privacy. Their genuine warmth made all the difference, and it's clear they pour their heart into making The Nook a truly special place.
The accommodation itself is simply amazing quality. Every detail has been meticulously thought out, making it feel like a home away from home. The kitchenette was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, from quality appliances to all the necessary utensils – perfect for whipping up a meal after a day of exploring. And let's talk about the shower! It was, hands down, the best shower we've encountered in a rental!
Beyond the main amenities, it's all the nice touches that really set The Nook apart. From a delightful welcome pack (including delicious homemade brownies!) to the cozy and comfortable living space, it's clear Mark and Rosie have anticipated every guest's need. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the overall decor is both stylish and inviting.
The Nook offers a wonderful private outdoor space with the garden, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea in the morning or enjoying the quiet evenings. Its location in Chudleigh is also ideal, offering peace and tranquility while still being within easy reach of local amenities and attractions.
Honestly, our experience at The Nook was so outstanding, it's worth making a trip to Chudleigh just for the experience! We cannot recommend it highly enough. A solid 10/10, and we're already dreaming of our next visit.

A well appointed, comfortable studio in a great location
Mark met us on arrival and explained how everything worked and where everything was kept. Milk in the fridge and home made brownies were an unexpected treat! Rosie and Mark could be contacted by phone but respected our privacy at all times, ideal hosts!

Beautiful accommodation, exceptionally clean and tasteful decor and furnishings. Very private and quiet , large garden for the dog and an amazing shower . Very nice owners that were at hand if yiu needed them but didn't intrude

A fab stay at The Nook
The Nook was an absolute gem, great location, friendly and approachable hosts and absolutely spotless. The bed was one of the comfiest we have slept in and the shower was a real treat. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to take advantage of the outside area, which we would have loved to have been able to do.
The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need, including hints on how to use the appliances!
We are so pleased with our stay and hope that we are able to return in the future.
There is honestly nothing that we did not enjoy.

A stylish, well equipped and comfortable apartment with kind hosts.
An ideal location for our visit to family in Chudleigh. Walking distance to local shops and short drives to key tourist destinations in Devon. The modern apartment was in a quiet residential area, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The shower was especially impressive. Mark and Rosie were thoughtful, kind hosts and made the garden available to us during our stay - including use of the hot tub! We will definitely be back.

Everything was just perfect! Very friendly and helpful hosts! Two sweet dogs and a purrfect cat 🐈⬛! They really put all their love and eye for detail into The Nook. Quiet and peaceful terrace and backyard we could use throughout the stay.

Lovely place, good value, clean and sparkly with some nice toucheds
It's a comfy studio suite, plenty of room, with a well equipped kitchen area, great shower and comfy bed. The two double doors look out onto the garden. Very clean and sparkly tidy. The brownies, milk, tea and coffee were a nice arrival treat. We were there to do a painting course being held in the town hall and it's very handy for that. Shops and town centre just a few mins walk away. Really nice place. Thank you.

Perfect, close to Dartmoor
Excellent what a perfect find, our dog was very welcomed, wonderful hosts, especially if you have a love of dogs which we have and we met the hosts dogs, lovely hosts, who greatly respected our privacy whilst at the same time were very friendly without being too much! Lovely village of Chudleigh with friendly locals, plenty of places for dog walks, nice village and wonderful views of Dartmoor from the accommodation. We would definitely stay again for a relaxing stay, altogether most enjoyable, first rate accommodation of the highest standard.
