De tuin! Je waant je midden in de jungle, meerdere leuke dieren gezien, waaronder de toekan

Het meubilair. Het ziet er mooi uit, met robuuste houten bank en stoelen, maar daardoor zit het niet lekker. Wij waren er met een baby. Het is niet babyvriendelijk qua meubilair (veel punten en hoeken). Maar laat je hierdoor niet afschrikken, het huisje is prachtig

It was immaculately clean, Daniella met us when we arrived and she was super friendly, offered good recommendations for nearby food and activities. The night tour with Jorge that she arranged for us was exceptional!! Beds were comfortable and the facilities were brilliant, with consistent hot water which isn’t always the case in Costa Rica. Lovely gesture of warm banana bread waiting for us when we arrived and the house itself had loads of basic ingredients such as tea, coffee, salt, sugar, oil, spices etc which is highly useful when self catering! Garden was well kept and very private - wish we had stay for longer! Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

The seats in the front room are uncomfortable after a while but with some creative pillow placement borrowed from the bedrooms it was manageable.

La casa es preciosa. Toda de madera. Es cómoda. El baño es verdad que necesita un retoque.

El video para facilitar la llegada no era correcto y no aportaba ninguna información. Abrir la puerta fue un odisea y tenía alarma. Cosa que no fue informada previamente. Llegamos de noche y cansados, lloviendo y fue un momento bastante complicado. En la casa no se puede entrar con zapatos.

Our family of four, parents and two teens (16 and 14), had a great stay! The house is spotless and comfortable and the property is peaceful, had lots of space indoors and out, unique wood decor, large washer/dryer, comfortable queen-size beds, and good wi-fi. The kitchen had everything we needed. The host Daniela was immediately responsive to all communications, both about the property and also activities in the area, even making suggestions and helping us with booking activities in advance of our stay. Her recommendation for the night tour with young George was a bit hit with our teens! And ziplining at Selvatura was fantastic.

Nothing to do with Forest Garden House, but we should have booked tickets for the cloud forests ahead of time as they were sold out when we got to Monteverde. If only we could have stayed longer!
