Lovely stay with great staff!

Great location, right on the beach! Staff were very attentive which was lovely. Nice to have a bar and kitchen open all day too. We were in room 3 so had a great view of the pool and the ocean.

Some outside areas could do with a freshen up.

A clean, affordable accomodation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was very good with a wide variety of choices. Breakfast was particularly excellent. Good restaurants nearby.

Signage to the accomodation could be improved. Need to walk down a gang to get there and if you weren't familiar with gangs, it could be daunting. Also dogs in the neighbouring properties were scary.

Comfortable and friendly on Amed Beach

Room was comfortable, located directly on Amed Beach. At low tide you can walk a good distance along the beach all the way to Jemeluk Bay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and they provide unlimited free drinking water, unlike some places that force you to buy plastic bottles of water (we don''t need more plastic rubbish in the world). Close to many restaurants and other services, including diving and snorkelling.

Bed was a bit too soft if you like a firm mattress, although not uncomfortable.

If you want a laid back small hotel experience away from a mob of tourists, stay here.

Very laid back. Friendly staff. They make you feel looked after. The hotel is small, about 8 rooms and a little off the actual road. But it’s right on the beach. You can literally walk out to the sea and snorkel. It’s very close to other snorkelling & diving sites. They have live music on several nights a week, with a very talented band. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails. Finally this isn’t the usual luxury hotel. No tv, no hair dryer, but it doesn’t matter, it’s the location & staff that counts.

Amazing view

It’s right on the beach, beautiful black sand. Easy water access. The restaurant has a nice menu and the food is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have entertainment on the beach, (weather permitting) otherwise on property, twice a week. I noticed most of the guests were from France.

The walk into the resort is a bit of a trek, but the staff is ready to help with luggage, and the dogs along the path are a bit intimidating, but they were all friendly. The one thing I didn’t like about the resort was the lack of outlets, there were only two in the entire room, the fridge n lamp were plugged into one and a lamp into another, both beside the bed. In order to charge the phone or plug in the hot water pot provided you needed to move furniture and switch out plugs. Seems like an easy fix, but it’s not a new resort, so perhaps it’s not as easy as it seems🤷🏼‍♀️

Everything, only stayed 2 nights but had the best room I believe, need was comfortable, staff were fantastic, entertainment was great. Definitely coming back.

Cute hotel with beautiful views

Its a cute little place right on the beach, the pool is lovely and its just a few steps from the beach for a swim too. There is no snorkelling here but we went along to Jemeluk (5 mins) with snorkels and gear rented from the hotel. We sat at a local warung for the day and the snorkelling was incredible! Highly recommend doing this! The rooms are tired but cute and the beds are really comfy! Unfortunately, during out stay there was construction on both sides of the hotel that we were not made aware of. It was very loud, started early in the morning and went on all day - it detracted from any relaxing! Laying by the pool with a sander going constantly right next to you isn't amazing...also lots of dogs that enter the hotel from the beach, one of the days there was a dog fight right next to our beach chair which was a bit scary. One of the nights we stayed the hotel had live music and the band was excellent! They played right on the beach and we sat in bean bags, had dinner and listened for their 3 hour set - a real highlight! One of the days we were there the hotel staff were involved in an onsite training conference, this meant any service stopped for around 2 hours in the middle of the day so there were thirsty guests. All in all, for the price, it was ok however probably wouldn't stay again. If you do visit Amed make sure you book dinner and drinks at Sunset Point - amazing!!

Relaxing break

What an amazing gem hidden down an alleyway. Right on the beach. Close to shops and next door to a 5 star PADI shop.

The front door didn’t close so we bought fly spray and used the mosquito net.

Excellent location, clean, old Bali style - we had a suite on the water. Food is good, pool Is warm, right on the beach. Staff were super.

Construction next door 7-5pm makes it somewhat noisy when you want to enjoy the pool and sleep. Rooster noisy in the morning and not dark enough in the room.

Great location at the end of Amed, staff were super helpful, easy to get transport everywhere, right on the beach. Affordable place for families, with good prices and choices in the bar and restaurant too.

Needs more chairs for the balcony of the family room but otherwise great value for seafront property with delicious choices for food from the amazing chef who did a great BBQ on our first night and the staff here are exceptional especially Gede who is always smiling and the lovely Evha.

Amazing relaxing experience!

I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights. Ena and his team are helpful, friendly and always thoroughly working to ensure the hotel is clean and relaxing. My room was cleaned, restocked and the linens had no stains. The hotel restaurant is also clean and a lot of different choices on the menu. The location is beautiful and perfect for divers and snorkeling. Overall I had an amazing experience just relaxing and unwinding.

Firstly it's Amed.... Location...done a dirty winding partly line walking lane about 150 metres... But once there.. it's beach front. Bed is terrible. Worst in 40 plus hotels in bali I've stayed in. Bathroom smelt Pool is nice. Bar staff are great Receptionist has basic English only... Live music was good. Just need a good clean and tidy of the lane way and some staff training ( yes I understand the laneway is communal)

Can enjoy the sunrise from this resort. It was sooo beautiful. The staff were incredibly lovely too - had some issues with the toilet bowl and they went above and beyond for it.

Small, friendly resort on the edge of paradise.

Great location, right on the Beach. The staff were wonderful and organised snorkelling for us and a car to return from the resort. From our room (Number 2) we had great sea views and immediate access to the pool. The resort is small, friendly, and had anything your require of a restful holiday. The menu at the restaurant/ bar is extensive and the breakfast menu options are pretty good - try the smoothies. There are magnificent sunrises to be experienced and the views of Mt Agung from the beach are wonderful. From the resort, turning left on the access road, are a lot of cafes, bars and restaurants.
