Loved it and would go back

In a perfect spot for snorkeling straight off the beach in front of the hotel pool. Staff very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was a perfect start to the day

A Fan on the outside of the veranda would have been good as Amed at the time we visited was very hot - in the high 30's however the air con inside was very good

Great place to stay in Amed

The Bungalows are in an amazing beachside location in Amed with views to the ocean.l from our front porch with chaise lounge, table & chairs. Our garden view room was near the lovely swimming pool and cafe, which provides some basic food, fresh juices & other drinks all day after breakfast, as well as use of their fridge, provides hot water and will also deliver tea/ coffee etc to your room up until 9 p.m. as well as Wurung order. Filtered water available for refills at all times. We also loved the Mt Agung views and volcanic beach as a contrast to our East Coast Australian beach life. Snorkelling straight off the beach was lovely in the clear cool water using rented gear from the office. Staff and owners are kind and helpful. Amed is a charming town with many eating options, grocery store, chemist & other shops that are near Kembali Beach Bungalows. Will definitely return.

The traffic noise was loud behind the garden view Bungalows. I would like to try a beach view room to see how much quieter they are, as the road is directly behind the property. A room fridge would be great although I understand you can arrange one for the room when booking. Maybe pay for that.

Reasonable pleasant but only for a short stay

Surrounds were quite pleasant and staff were good. Located close to shops etc

There were just some basic things that would have made it more comfortable like a small fridge in the room and a cushion on the day bed.

Cozy stay with daily snorkel opportunities. Almost like an institution in Amed with direct beach access.

Refill water, close proximity to beach, breakfast, spacious room size, cozy porch, overall good maintenance of the property considering the age.

High water equipment rent $ (charging per day instead of per stay), lack of amenities in the room but you can go to kitchen to ask for hot water, etc. pillows could be better quality.

Relaxing on the beachfront

The location was great. Snorkelling right in front of the bungalows each morning was very special. Breakfast was plentiful. Beachfront bungalow is recommended. Close to a variety of restaurants. The pool was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to our next visit.

best place to relax and recharge

The view from the bungalow was just incredible. The bungalows are quite spacious with a nice little terrace. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to rent a scooter and snorkelling gear there as well. The breakfast in the morning was simple and nice. For lunch and dinner they serve food from a restaurant close by which I can definitely recommend.

Straight out to the beach. Great views. Enjoyed the partially outside shower. Air con!! Nice little terrace. Great snorkeling straight outside the hotel with blue starfish and some other nice bright fish!

Little to not like here. Location is superb, staff very friendly, beautiful grounds, very tranquil - ideal place to relax and unwind. Snorkeling straight from the beach, great views of Agung. The owners are very welcoming and extremely helpful and we are grateful for their assistance.

Wow! what a location! when you walk in front of the hotel and enter the beach you see one of the most beautiful snorkeling locations in Amed. we even saw a sea turtle! the bungalows itself is super clean and covered in nature and the staff is super super helpful. they helped us with all our questions, booked us a snorkeling tour, gave us recommendations on where to go diving etc. we had trouble with our visacard and the staff helped us at every moment with it (day or night!). definetly a must go when you visit Amed. when we come back to Amed, it speaks for itself that we will come back here. Kembali means coming back, and the name works like a charm.

Exceptional

We had an amazing time at Kembali. Particularly liked the indoor/outdoor bathroom and listening to the sound of the sea at night. The villas are comfortable and clean and SO close to the beach so you can walk out of the door and into the water where there is great snorkelling. The breakfasts provided were delicious and there are a lot of options - the banana pancake was our favourite! All of the staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating - ready to help with anything we needed. We borrowed snorkelling gear from Kembali and they helped us hire scooters from a place down the road. The location is great, walking distance to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and if you hire scooters you can get to the close by shipwrecks for snorkel or diving or visit the water temple half an hours drive away. Highly recommend this property and Amed in general. Can't wait to Kembali!

Good place for the price, beautiful surroundings. Hygiene and staff attitude could be better.

Great location, beautiful space. It felt nice and secluded yet central to Amed. Breakfast was pretty good, dutch pancakes are surely a nice touch. Staff was nice for the most part. Really liked the bed and the airconditioning worked great.

I came there for peace and kind of a small getaway. Unfortunately the female staff in the kitchen would have very loud conversations/phonecalls every day from morning till late afternoon. I was next to the kitchen and was unable to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Also cleaning room pretty much only meant making the bed (not even changing sheets) and changing toilet paper. The shower felt dirty and even had a hairtie from a previous guest. Most off the staff was nice, but I did get snapped at during checkout by a member which made my exit not that rosy.

Wifi 7 napból 1 nap volt használható, akkor is csak az étkezőnel. Nagyon hangos, főútról behalladszó motorok nagyon hangosak.

Petit coin de paradis

Les petit bungalow individuel sont très confortable et la piscine face à la mer est superbe. L’emplacement est fabuleux et l’accès direct à la mer aussi. Le personnel extrêmement sympathique, au petits soins.

Pour le prix, il pourrait y avoir certains petits équipements de commodité complémentaires comme une bouilloire ou un sèche cheveux, ou encore un mini frigo.

Mooie villa aan het strand. Leuke strandtentjes waar je lekker kan eten.

Het complex zit aan een doorgande weg waardoor er veel geluidsoverlast was in de avond met naar bed gaan. Tip! Neem oordoppen mee.

L’emplacement et le charme ancien des bungalow.

La tristesse du personnel. Pas de sourire. Manifestement sous pression devant appeler le propriétaire pour chaque demande. Pas de verre de bienvenue. Les petits déjeuners tristes, pauvres et de mauvaise qualité. Pour un prix de chambre élevé pour la zone. Le caractère délabré du bungalow. Fenêtre laissant un jour d’un centimètre. Donc absence d’isolation phonique en bord de route très fréquentées par des motos bruyantes. Impossible de dormir plus d’un quart d’heure d’affilée. La poignée de porte de la salle de bain m’est restée dans la main provoquant une chute grave. Gâchant 10 jours de mes vacances Climatiseur coulant d’un liquide marron sombre. Eau chaude rare. Fourmilière sous la cuvette des toilettes (fourmis géantes agressives. Pas de produits de toilette fournis… Le parking scooters des clients très dangereux chutes fréquentes. Les parkings aménagés sont réservés à des sociétés tierces qui les louent et au personnel

Deliziosi bungalow in riva al mare

La posizione: in riva al mare con la possibilità di vedere pesci coloratissimi, tartarughe, mante appena fuori dal bungalow con il Vulcano sempre sullo sfondo. I bungalow spaziosi, pulitissime, freschi, la piscina. Il giardino rigoglioso.

I bungalow con vista giardino sono vicini alla strada e un poco rumorosi.

Хорошее место для отдыха приезжаем уже второй раз. Рядом пляж и морской риф где плавают черепахи и другие рыбы. Место очень удобное для наблюдения за рассветом и закатом.

Bungalow bien aménagé et propre. Salle de bain semi extérieure sympa avec une douche à galets. Piscine avec vue sur la mer. Belle localisation à proximité du centre.

Goede sfeer, aardig personeel!

Warm zwembad, heerlijk! Mooi uitzicht, heel aardig personeel en eigenaar! Je kan eten bestellen, dit halen zij voor je bij een warung en komen ze op je veranda brengen. Super handig. Bij de receptie zijn snorkelspullen te huur. Meteen bij het strand voor de bungalow kan je goed snorkelen. Receptie regelt op verzoek chauffeur voor terugweg. Goede sfeer in complex en heel Amed.

Bungalow is eenvoudig ingericht. Ik miste een tafel waar ik spullen op kan zetten. Een grote staande schemerlamp zou de kamer gezelliger maken, nu is het vrij donker. De douchevloer bestaat uit losse steentjes, dit vind ik onhygiënisch. Daar gaan haren en zeepresten tussen zitten en kan je niet schoonmaken. Badkamer kan ook nieuwe prullenbak en toiletpapierhouder e d. gebruiken. Gladde wastafel, ipv beton met stenen, vind ik ook praktischer en hygiënischer.

Charmant

Le lieu est vraiment charmant avec une belle vue face à la piscine et la mer. Grande facilité d’explorer la mer en sortant de sa chambre : poissons et tortues. Chambre simple, spacieuse et très bien équipée, ventilateur et climatisation. Proche d’un très bon et sympathique restaurant. Des transats sur la plage seraient les bienvenus avec parasols. Seul point délicat comme partout à Amed : la nuisance du bruit de la route. Pensez à demander les bungalows les plus au calme.
