Nisshokan

A gorgeously kept showa-era inn, amazing bath facilities, wonderful ocean views, delightful staff, delicious food, comfortable room

Only beer in the on-site vending machine, had to go across the street for water or tea

The people running the place are very friendly. The room is spacious and charming, an old Japanese atmosphere, "Showa" time. The location is really great, beautiful street and very close to Meotoiwa so easy to get to for sunset and sunrise. In that sense a very good choice to stay. The parking is in walking distance.

There was no breakfast and no dinner. Perhaps if I had asked but it was not offered after I inquired. There is no elevator so you will be careful with heavy luggage. There is a hot bath down stairs which is rather old and a little smelly but very spacious, no shower in the room. I had the feeling I was the only guest which is ok considering Japan is still closed for tourists but the windows of all the other rooms were all boarded up at the back for the Hotel. This came across a little strange and creepy.
