施設が古い

The hotel is located on a hill overlooking the nearby water and the views are gorgeous. There is a shuttle that runs from the train station to the hotel but my friend and I didn't take it, as the walk of the hill is totally doable, we did it twice. Hotel is the perfect place to stay after a day spent at the Pearl Island Museum and the hill is at the edge of a sleepy little town, super quaint and peaceful. Loved the selection at the breakfast buffet here. If you book a room with breakfast included, you'll get a little ticket at check-in that gets handed to the host when you arrive for breakfast. The spread included udon, breads, salad, ochazuke, french toast, and various other Japanese and Western breakfast dishes. The hotel does have a restaurant that serves other meals, but if your preference is to go to town to explore, do plan on making reservations ahead or just walk around a bit to test your luck with what's open/available. I would honestly love to do another overnight trip here. The room was also very spacious. Toilet and sink were in a separate area to the bedroom. The shower and bathtub were on the balcony but there is a cover; it makes for a great bath at night.

Overall I liked the hotel very much, just some nit-picky things. Because the hotel is on a hill surrounded by nature, there's not way to stop there from being bugs and the like. The hotel is very clean and well maintained so I wasn't worried about bugs in the bedroom, but the shower/bath is outside. I wasn't swarmed, but it was enough to be not fully comfortable. Also, pillows weren't super comfy.
