Kaigetsu

We loved everything about our time at Kaigetsu. We were greeted by the loveliest host, swapped our shoes for slippers at the front door, and shown to our room which was huge with a view of the sea! The BnB is ideally located near the train station and ferry terminal. There is also a bath on the top floor and the women’s side has a view of the sea as well. I think the most heartwarming part of our stay is that, as we checked out, the host handed us a foil- covered, Ziplocked parcel of onigiri.

Amazing location—close to everything. Very kind staff—gave us onigiri on the day we left. Amazing traditional Japanese breakfast—very filling. Fun to use the onsen.

The host, Kiku and her mother were very nice. They went out of their way to re assure us during the typhoon and gave us breakfast and lunch when we left.

Extremely close to the station and very comfortable bed. Lady was welcoming and made me a delicious packed onigiri for breakfast before my travels :)

There was a weird smell in the room (not sure if it was humidity or sweat) and saw a cockroach running around the room. Would not expect that given the price paid.
