Seacrest B&B

The location is great - stepping out the front door you can see the sea and sit in a swing in the yard to appreciate it! Kilronan is, of course, small, so you can easily find this BnB just off the central axis of the village, about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful (it was good to be able to leave a bag there for check-in time later). The room was comfortable with a TV and en suite bathroom. The reception area is pretty and comfortable. The breakfast was very good - I had the full Irish breakfast - and I was happy that coffee was brought to your table rather than having to use the coffee machine there! I appreciated the owner filling up my water bottle. I had a place to park my rented bike overnight.

Unfortunately there was no kettle (tea/coffee-making facilities) in the room, so no possibility to have a tea or coffee when you would like. I was a little surprised at this as one of the first things most people like doing when they come back 'home' in the evening is have a tea, or a coffee first thing when they get up - particularly in the windy-prone Aran Islands! I don't think there are a huge number of bedrooms, so it would not seem like a huge effort. Moreover, the price I paid is more than my usual budget, but it was the Aran Islands. I did make myself a couple of teas using the kettle in the breakfast area, so all was not lost after arriving back after 6pm - too late to get anything - water - at the local Spar shop (closed), so, I was able to hydrate!

Great spot- excellent location! Easy to rent a bike and tour the island. Walking distance from the ferry. Delicious breakfast, comfy bed and friendly staff!

Room/bathroom was a little snug- but totally satisfactory!

Location was amazing. You walk out the door, see the sea, and are right beside the pubs, cafes, shops etc.
