The Salvation Army - Booth Lodge

The hotel is located in the city centre, and is very near to MTR Yau Ma Tei with walking distance of less than 10 mins. There’s 7-11 and McD down the street too. The receptionists are all super super friendly, welcoming and kind. In fact, they are the warmest HKer we have ever encountered during our whole trip in Hong Kong. There’s free luggage storage service if you reach earlier before check-in hours, and they even permit luggage storage upon check-out until 11pm on the day. During our stay, they even have some sponsors going on and we got to have free brekfast buffet too. On top of that, they serve free warm water, biscuits, candies, coffees and milk in the bar in the lounge level too. For the rooms, we never expect to have such a cozy, comfortable and spacious rooms at this price. You can tell they renovated the rooms because it looks much more modern than usual HK hotel room. The aircon is very strong too, make sure you have your blanket on or it will be too cold for you.

Overall, the whole stay experience is superb and price worthy !

Such great value for money. The space available in the room, the complimentary tea and coffee available 24/7, the simple yet delicious breakfast, the security and the location all made for a great trip for first timers like myself and my son. It's in the little things that Booth Lodge has made available like the scale at the reception to weigh your luggage that make this an exceptional place to stay at

The cold temperatures maintained in public areas and the rooms. Lack of fresh air in the rooms as you can't open windows

I can’t emphasize enough how much this hotel offers for the price. The rooms are exceptionally clean, which was my top priority, and spacious enough to store luggage and move around comfortably. There’s also a table and chair that can be used as a workspace, plus a window to check the weather outside. The hotel is conveniently located on Nathan Road, with buses that go directly to the airport. There are plenty of convenience stores and laundry facilities nearby as well. Highly recommended!

The staff is really great ! Excellent location near bus stop and couple minutes to subway Free breakfast was provided during the time we stayed. room is good size for HK and is good state

The A/C is the room is bit noisy.
