I’ve never learned so much while traveling.

This hotel is the BEST hotel as it taught me so much: 1. At least a week ago before I arrived at the hotel, I wanted to book ski shuttle bus service, I sent email but was ignored by the hotel, it taught me I could not expect too much from others. 2. When I arrived at the hotel, the door was closed and I stood outside for quite a long time. I rang the doorbell and I also called the hotel number, but no one answered. It taught me how to be patient. 3. Finally, someone opened the door and we could barely communicate, because she couldn’t speak English. I couldn’t rely on my translation app either as I only have two bars for my signal and the Wi-Fi was not working normally. it taught me the importance of being able to speak more languages. 4. The next day we would like to book the shuttle bus to ski, but the receptionist told us we only have one choice, other timeslots were all fully booked. She didn’t apologize because it was our fault not being able to speak German to talk to the German speaking person yesterday and book the bus in advance. It’s told me being independent was extremely important, because they will never let you know when you could have the service. 5. The room we lived in, was smaller and looked quite different from the choice we paid on the app. Stop relying on your imagination or expectation, it’s reality. I’ve never learned so much while traveling.

A great base for a great ski holiday.

Beautiful location by the lake but not far from town center. The half board option is well worth the money, Great saunas available to the guests.

Very little parking space available at the property. Other than that all good.

Great hotel by the lake with stunning views

We had a superior room and it was nice and spacious and had a balcony with a lovely view over the lake. The room has a fridge and a coffee machine which was a nice touch. The bed was large and pretty comfortable, although I don’t find the typical Austrian square pillows very comfortable. The room and hotel in general was very clean and well maintained. The spa surpassed expectations with two saunas, steam room, cold plunge and relaxation areas, there’s also a small gym available. It’s a great location on the lake with stunning views in the morning, imagine it would be great in the summer also. Free shuttles to the ski lift in the morning or a 10-15 minute stroll which I did a few mornings. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of bakery goods, fruits, yoghurts, cereals, meats, cheeses, hot options - egg, bacon, beans etc. All in all a lovely hotel and would recommend.

Coffee machine at breakfast wasn’t the best, the lighting on the third floor needs changing to brighter bulbs as very dark.

The tv couldn’t connect to my phone and there wasn’t any streaming services so we couldn’t watch anything amd parking was abit tight to turn around

Great location by the lake with magnificent views of the lake and mountain from room, restaurant, spa, gym and Ani room! Fine dining with Halal option is a bonus Ski depot facility, 10 min walk to ski lift with free shuttle to the lift if do not want to walk Wellness suite with variety of sauna, stream and relaxation Staff were friendly and helpful

Wonderful place, great staff!

We liked the staff the best! They all were amazing; from the chefs to the wait staff (very professional! and very customer oriented), to the receptionist who answered our questions and who helped us solve problems! Because of these people, we asked to stay an extra night!

The location and view from our room and dining room were amazing! No place is perfect! The challenge here is the trains going by. However, we slept with our door fully open to the lake, the air is wonderful, but the sounds of the trains are not. We stopped by the pharmacy and purchased gel ear plugs. They work like a charm! We have our view, our rooms are private so we don't have to close our curtains, and we solved the sound issue!

The front desk was very helpful with the intry process and giving the zell am see cards and they provided us with the charger converter and thanks for that , breakfast was not too much choice for muslim only the eggs and cereal but everything else was unbelievable to describe

Excellent hotel, nice staff, wonderful food. Parking was just a bit challenging.

Location was outstanding in one direction (facing the lake) and nit so good with railway tracks on the other side.

Parking was very limited and very cramped. One has to backup about 50 yards to turn around.

Great week walking and wandering into the town which is a short 10 min walk from the hotel.

The rooms all overlook the lake and are both well designed and comfortable. The staff are helpful and friendly when treated with respect. We spent a full week here on half board and enjoyed the meals which were varied and representative of local cuisine nicely presented. The summer card provided at the hotel and the Salzburg travel card make getting around both easy and in the majority of cases, free. I would definitely return

Hiking weekend

Beautifully located by the sea, wonderful view from the room. Great breakfast and excellent to have the Summer Card included.

Staff could have been more helpful and the reception was not always manned. We mentioned a broke safe twice but it was still not fixed.

Lovely family stay

Very clean, location was ok about 8 min walk into the main square not great if your not very mobile but not too bad, free shuttle to CityXpress, food was lovely, warm and welcoming, view was beautiful on the lake

Smart location choice to enjoy the lake view

The location and the rooms settings fronting the Lake. Also the quietness surrounding the hotel area

1. Every thing was perfect till the last day while checking out. The staff who attended my check out process she claimed that i have to pay for 2 Coke bottles which we didn't consumed during our stay. When I did not accepted it .. the staff started to encounter an argument in a rude manner. So my advise to the customers coming to this hotel to be careful and be prepared for such arguments because it seems this hotel doesn't have a professional invoicing system. 2. Also the checking out staff refused to give me the receipt/invoice of my stay considering the room charges of 6 nights .. with an excuse that i booked via booking.com so i should get it from booking.com (this was surprising !!! because i am usually getting it in other hotels when i book via booking.com). 3. No slippers provided as mentioned on the hotel page at booking.com 4. The dust on the room floor was not being removed on daily basis.
