- Location is great
- staff are helpful
- bathrooms are not comfortable and not very clean they need to be changed asap
- some of the caves might smell a bit of mould

Matera is truly unbelievable, and this hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of it all. Very close to a main plaza and plenty of restaurants to pick from, it is located in a perfect spot. The room is quite unique and very spacious. Beds were comfortable enough for a good night rest after all the daily activities. Breakfast was very good.

For visiting Matera it was a good location but not truly as photos present and certainly not the steep steps to the room and into the room itself. There was no kettle, but there was safe, a bath. We had no heat and needed to ask for additional blanket. The staff were neither friendly nor unfriendly.
