This classy hotel offered us a perfect nights’ sleep after walking for miles up and down the stairs of Matera. Then upon waking, they provide a luxurious made-to-order breakfast to fuel you up for the day.
Best of all are the staff, who greet you cheerfully when passing. The 24 hour receptionists at the front office helped us reserve cabs, restaurants, and recommended the best daytrip itineraries. When we left on an early morning, the kitchen staff prepared a giant picnic basket with sandwiches, juice, fruit and cakes in a box for us to take on the bus.
The room itself is luxurious and had high quality amenities, slippers and robes. We cannot recommend this hotel more!
