"The view was absolutely incredible - honestly, the best view in all of Matera. The place itself was super comfortable, and we could have easily spent all day just sitting there and taking in the view...."

Excellent location for exploring Matera. Host was very friendly and helpful, allowing us to check in early and provided drinks and snacks to welcome us. Would recommend.
A minor issue was that there was limited natural daylight, as door was only source of light and with shutters open offered no privacy from neighbouring properties.

The view was absolutely incredible - honestly, the best view in all of Matera. The place itself was super comfortable, and we could have easily spent all day just sitting there and taking in the view. Valeria was also fantastic - super helpful and friendly, and she made both check-in and check-out incredibly easy and seamless.
If I had to mention one thing, the shower was a little on the tight side. That said, it’s a very minor point and certainly didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic stay.

The room was very clean and quiet.
1) The bed was uncomfortable. 2) The representative assigned was unable to provide a firm check-in time until the afternoon of my reservation. I requested 1500 check in when I booked the room, but Cinzia was unable to provide a firm check-in time until the afternoon of my reservation due to “multiple appointments”. It was very annoying to be expected to remain flexible for a check-in at a paid hotel; we had to adjust our plans in Matera that day because she wasn’t sure she could fulfill my requested appointment.
