Everything was perfect for our stay. The rooms were cleaned and very comfortable. Has everything we need. So close to the public transport to bring us to and from the car park. The bus only costs €1.50 per person. It is so easy to get around from the apartment by foot. I would recommend this place if you visit Matera.

Wow, what an incredible stay at Sassolina Dimora Storica! The location is perfect, with a truly breathtaking view. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our host, Patrizia and her husband, gave us such a warm welcome and were always available for any questions or information we needed. Parking was also not an issue at all. There is even a shuttle bus that drops you off right in front of the apartment. Nearby, you’ll find plenty of lovely restaurants and cafés, including the beautiful Café Zipa, definitely a must-visit!

Met by Mr. Lassolino, wonderful gentleman. Helped with my bags, arranged a taxi for me, check-in quick and easy. Great room, clean, warm. The location was perfect for me, taxi able to access right at the property. Great view of the Sassi, restaurants nearby.
Unfortunately, it rained during my stay. Nice to come back to a warm, cozy room.
