Alle Grotte is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the Sassi di Matera, within walking distance of all the main attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby where you can eat until late in the evening. Just across the street, there is also a self-service vending area where you can buy cold drinks, including beer, and some snacks. The room is beautiful, stylish, and very photogenic. It was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly and was easy to use. It had everything we needed for our stay. The check-in process was interesting because we never met the host in person. Everything was arranged through WhatsApp. The key was left in a secure lockbox with a code, and check-out was just as easy. We also left the tourist tax (€3 per person per night) in cash, as agreed with the manager. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Honestly, everything was great, and we were very happy with our stay. There were only a couple of small issues. We didn't have any soap in the room, although there were other complimentary toiletries. Also, the coffee machine in the shared hallway seemed to stop working after we used it once. These were only minor inconveniences, and we didn't even report them because they didn't affect our stay. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Este alojamiento está integrado por dos habitaciones, una recepción y una pequeña sala de estar donde puedes servirte café. Es una restauración realizada a partir de la evacuación de los sassi de Matera en el siglo pasado. Es una mezcla de lo moderno por sus comodidades con lo histórico por el respeto a lo autóctono del diseño. Es una experiencia increíble saberse en lo que fueron las cuevas de piedra. La ubicación es perfecta ya que se encuentra muy cerca a pie de todas las atracciones de esta ciudad increíble. En la habitación nos dejaron montones de dulces y cosas para el desayuno y estuvieron siempre pendientes de nuestras necesidades. Es importante saber que no se puede ingresar en auto hasta el lugar, pero nos fueron guiando para dejarlo en un estacionamiento cercano que se encontraba fuera de la zona ZTL. Súper recomendado.
