Great location, everything else disappoints

Location

Outdated and in need of TLC. Heating did not work properly. It was not very clean. Bedding was bare minimum. And worst of all, there was something very dead in the wall of the bedroom that made the whole upstairs wreak, so I ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs to avoid the smell.

Travelling with our dog this was much appreciated by her. A very central location, good facilities. Although television not working well, and the sofa not good, bedroom upstairs was huge, with comfy bed, good bedding and sheets, ample soap, towels provided. Overall pleasant stay in great location with good enough facilities and cleanliness just about OK, would recommend.

A decent sofa, TV that works easily, a cloth to wipe tables, more attention to cleanliness, a coffee machine.

nice setup, good value

at checkout the lift was not operational for an hour - full of laundry - and it was hard to get out due to laundry van blocking the door AND archway 🤣 would have been a 10 otherwise...

Not what I expected.

The property is 15min walking from the hbf. That was good.

Tbh, I could listened everything the other people was doing out of my room. The bathroom was not so clean, I don’t like the smell of clorox everywhere, the toilet paper was used and smelled weird. I needed to put a new one myself. The pillows and the look of the room is not the same as in the photos. I thought when I checked the reviews, that for a day would be okay, but I didn’t like it so much even for a day, was not so comfortable and the heater is so small that it was still cold so I used to wake up every 3h feeling cold and the blankets were not so thick. The rooms look like an old hotel room.

The location.

The pillows were awfully bad shape the covers of the bed were not enough for the cold. There were not enough plugs near the bed or inside the bathroom and kitchen, we had to put the boiler on the floor. Also there was no water pressure in the shower. The walls were very thing could hear lots of neighbors noises.

Great location, easy check in/check out, comfortable, it was chill. Nice fridge. Cool view.

Huge bug spawned in and crawled on our toothbrushes, no huzz spotted, blow dryer didn’t work so my hair looked bad at the club, towels were not restocked so we had to snag some ourselves.

Perfectly located , close to everything you need and 10 min walk to center .

The bathroom had a sewage smell, the premises would need some updates, warm inside and during night a bit tricky to sleep with open windows because of the noise.

It's a long list...

Location was great. Retrieving and dropping off your key is a clever system.

It's very impersonal with NO reception, NO staff to have access to. Intercom doesn't work! Didn't find the toilet paper, where it's supposed to be... took them over half an hour to reply to my multiple messages... Then the knobs on the 2 plate stove are filthy and are missing their tops. The vanity basin has no stopper/plug. Gotta watch out nothing falls in and disappears... And then the water doesn't drain out either. So the basin is full to the top. So you have to stand by and switch off water. Then when it does eventually drain, it stinks! The the duvet is so small /short that it doesn't cover you foot to neck. It's great for short people. And I'm not particularly tall. I had to turn it sideways so that I don't freeze. Maintenance is lacking, the paint on the door frames is off in a lot of places. Looks very neglected. Then be very wary.. I nearly injured myself stepping into the unit. There's a strp down, but no warning sign or markings on the floor... I got such a fright. Oh yes. Thers a kettle but no plug in the kitchen..not sure if as a guest, I'm supposed to find a plug somewhere else in the room.... Just really problematic. Won't be recommending this place

Avoid if you want a comfortable stay

I didnt like the property at all.

The flat smells of Sewage badly. Bedding was dirty, towels had makeup and lipstick marks on. Sent a message to the hotel during the stay unfortunately they said they dont have any staff on site to help. There is no shower curtain in the bathroom so the bathroom gets soaked wet after shower. There is a skylight in the bedroom which is also leaking and doesn’t have blind so the room gets bright very early in the morning. No bins in the room or in bathroom only one in the kitchen area. Loud party noise came from the next flat till late. I will not recommend this flat to anyone. Not worth the money at all.

The location was very central and easily accessible by tram . Lockbox function was easy .

Good location but 0 equipments and no support

The location

No equipments(not even a small coffee machine), window blinds dont close so you have the sun in your face while sleeping starting 6AM , you hear everything from outside even tough the windows are closed . There are no hangers in the closet. We had our clothes in the luggage the whole stay because of that I did send them a message asking to get some sheets or blankets because there is only one in the room, so we had to share a single small blanket the whole stay and no one answered my message on booking.

Exceptionally clean compact apartment. Good location for restaurants, river swim, and a steady walk to the lake. Close to the tram system.

The kitchen area had no plug sockets for the kettle and minimal plug sockets in the whole apartment. Little utensils and crockery. No dish soap. No air conditioning so had to leave the windows open but very noisy late at night and early morning.

Problems when checkin and contacting the property.

Good Location Good value for money

The check in keybox did not work properly, We tried to contact the property with the phone number and the phone was never answered. But they replied to booking.com chat and asked to hit the keybox after entering the code which did not work at the beginning. After tring several times with the same code and hitting the box it finally worked after 1 hour. I will not take this risk again.

Okay for an overnight stopover or few days in Zurich

The property was in easy to find location. Clean. Nice view from windows. Plenty of towels. Two bathroom and toilets one upstairs one down. Lift to take bags to 5th floor very useful. Pizza shop on ground floor open late so could get something to eat if everything closed on Sundays around there.

Problem with checkin using system. My code did not work and had to contact owner. Phone number correct but when call got music as not picked up quickly. After about 40 minutes we were able to get new code over the phone to enter property.

Clean, quiet place at a reasonable price, good accomodation for some days in Zurich. Small but furnished practically, equipped with essential things. Close to public transport, but even the city centre is in walking distance. Advantages: Elevator, cleanliness, easy check-in, quiet neighbourhood, big supermarket at the next corner. Excellent wifi, good double bed, clean well eqipped bathroom.

Reasonably close to centre though not the nicest area

Room was very basic and entry / building felt very sketchy. There was the used underwear of another guest hung in the hallway outside our room

Poor service for uncompleted check in

Nothing. I did a booking after hours which they allowed me to do, but I could not check in. There was a code needed to do check in and I was not provided with it.

I asked for a refund because I could not check in without the code they did not provide and I was directed to an email that is disabled. I was not refunded.

Furniture too old, peeling off, scratches

The bed head board was old, the leather was peeling off. Not enough eating/cooking/drinking utensils, only one wine glass. Furniture looked old too and the room is pretty small, was fine for a carry on luggage. For the price they collect they could invest a bit more in the furniture, at least make sure it’s not falling apart!

Duvet on the bed was too small. Kitchen comes with no cleaning amenities, if only staying for a night or 2, you're not going to go and buy all the washing up/cleaning products you'd need to use the kitchen. No hand soap in the bathroom. When booking a room/apartment you'd expect some washing up liquid and hand soap. We stayed here at the start and beginning of our trip, and it was the same both times.

Disappointing

Close to train station and transport Clean Use of a lift

We booked to stay here for a night at the beginning and end of our trip. Turned up at check in time, 2pm - code to collect key wouldn't work, had to phone a helpline to be told someone was on their way with the key. Once inside, room wasn't ready, still being cleaned which isn't helpful when you've been travelling all day with a toddler. Kitchen comes with no cleaning amenities, if only staying for a night, you're not going to go and buy all the washing up/cleaning products you'd need to use the kitchen. When booking a room/apartment you'd expect some washing up liquid and hand soap. No saucepan for the hob. We were on the first floor, quite noisy, the main door to the building opening and closing made our door bang each time
