Casa Contea is home to an ancient farmhouse dating back to the 1800's, completely restored. With its exposed stones, the barnyard, the wooden beams, it is possible to relive the atmospheres with an ancient flavor of a distant past, combined with the comfort of our days.
The cottage Il Leccio consists of a double bedroom, living room dining room with sofa bed, kitchen and bathroom, stone barbecue outside, large landscaped garden with swimming pool.
Its elevated position, surrounded by the woods, dominates the whole of Valdichiana, offering a delightful view of Lake Trasimeno. Thanks to its swimming pool that enjoys an unparalleled panorama, where you can see in the distance Montepulciano and the shape of Mount Amiata, you can abandon moments of pleasant relaxation, leaving behind the stress and the concerns of everyday life. To enjoy the best of the countryside's beauties and scents, we recommend healthy walking or biking trails among the many routes available in the area, including the famous Annibale passage. Its strategic location allows you to reach the most important historical, wine and cultural centers of Umbrian-Tuscan with a few minutes of travel.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s is in a wonderful quiet location and not far from many towns. The property has the main house which is divided into two and accommodates two other families. We stayed in the separate cottage il Leccio. The owner does not stay on the property but is contactable via what’s app anytime. The cottage has a magnificent view over the countryside. It is equiped with a stove, oven and small fridge. There is a tv in the bedroom and the lounge was comfortable. There is a lovely pool on the property which is a shared pool. The wifi only worked intermittently so you are best to make sure you purchase a sim if you want reliable internet. They do need to update their address on Stayz as it had the address as Via case Sparse, Creti, Cortona. The Stayz map has a photo of the location in Creti. It is not in Creti or Cortona it is in Cortoreggio. It is 25 minutes drive away from Creti and at least a 15 minute drive to the entrance of Cortona old town. Even with directions it is hard to find as the last few km are on a single lane windy country road with the last 2km being a dirty dusty track. The host kindly met us at another property and we followed him to the property. Once you get to the property it has a magnificent view.

This is a gorgeous property in an amazing location. The house is completely outfitted with all one needs. The host was extremely accommodating and helpful. He also allowed us privacy to enjoy our stay. We would stay there again without question.

wunderbares Ferienhaus, wunderbare Lage, toller Pool, gepflegt, wunderbare Erholung
kleiner Nachteil: bei der Buchung wussten wir nicht, dass ein sehr schmaler Asphaltweg zbd zum Schluss als Schotterweg zum Haus führt. Wäre gut, wenn man ds vorher wüsste.
Trotzdem: wir haben vor wiedezukommen

Het was voor mijn partner de eerste keer dat hij in Toscane is geweest en het was een fantastische vuurdoop. Ons huisje bevatte alle benodigdheden en lag op een werkelijk prachtige plek met een adembenemend uitzicht. Bovendien is dit een goede uitvalsbasis om meerdere pareltjes in Toscane te kunnen bezoeken. Valentina en Ivano waren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook toen ik naar de huisarts moest is Valentina helemaal met ons mee gereden en bij het doorslaan van een stop stond Ivano na tien minuten al voor de deur. Wij komen hier graag nog een keer terug.
