Unpleasant stay

Not what I expected . Cleanliness is top notch for the surrounding and bedding, friendly staff.

Attention should be paid to the microwave , very unhygienic to use when it hasn't been cleaned in a while .. looked very dirty. Very bad to have to share toilet and bathroom with the amount paid ... and the bathroom light was bad had to bath with my phone torchlight. Early hours of the morning vibration from nowhere could not sleep again.. have to leave the place immediately.

It was a truly wonderful stay.

I'm a girl, and I stayed for a whole week. I was a little worried about security on my way to the guesthouse, but after meeting the owner and his wife, I felt so much better. The owner's super friendly, and he keeps the place really nice, and he's totally professional. I felt safe the whole time; the whole family is really welcoming.

I have nothing bad to say, the best part is they clean the room every day, which I really liked. It's a super safe place with a code on the door and cameras, so I'd totally recommend you stay here.

Hosts very welcoming, attentive to the needs of guests. Helpful with information about the town etc. Clean and comfortable, l felt relaxed and comfortable. The place is close to the train station and city centre. It's opposite a beautiful park.

There is nothing l could fault, the building is well looked after and service is good.

The front garden is Barrow-in-Furness Park. Peaceful room with a view of rooftops. No food on premises. Constantly painted around outside perimeter by English speaking builder.

Brilliant place to stay.

Working away with work and staying at this lovely B&B The family who run it are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Anything you need they go out there way and get whatever you need. Ian and his wife and son are always around and keep the place absolutely spanking clean. The rooms are very spacious and clean with new bedding and fresh towels on the bed every day. The location is brilliant and the Wi-Fi is. Great value for money lovely place to stay.

Right next to the train station 🚉 😀 the host Was kind and put WiFi direct on the phone for me ..showed me my room even offered to Carry my bag 🎒 up ..the place was spotless my room was spotlessly clean with tea and coffee facilities. The shared bathrooms were incredibly clean ..can not fault this place and will be staying again..only down side was no breakfast..but you can go to the Duke of Edinburgh just a few mins walk away for that and opposite there is a Tesco if you need anything ...its the perfect place ✨️

Very pleasant and welcoming hosts. The room was well maintained and clean. Fresh clean linen and towels. Big Tv, too.

We found the room to be very small and cramped as it was located at the top of the property under the eaves. There was no on suite toilet or shower in our room, but there was a communal toilet/shower room along the corridor shared with all guests, not brilliant when you're in need of the toilet and someone is taking a shower. No breakfast is available at the moment. It's OK for a nights sleep but wouldn't stay longer.

Building works going on on ground floor and window in front room the seal is missing and handle loose so you hear all the traffic which means you need tv on loud and TV remote writing very faded

The room was spotless clean, the owners were super friendly and helpful. It's a really nice guest house. The whole property is well cared of and well maintained. I would be always happy to return.

My room was facing the main street therefore it was little bit more noisy because of the traffic but still okay.

Exceptional accommodation in Barrow-in-Furness

Very good location, close to rail station and main bus routes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Housekeeping done daily. Coffee and tea available in the room. Comfortable bed. I even got a small Christmas gift!
