Hotel Victoria

The whole Hotel looks like from the 1920s originally, it has so many details, owner is very friendly, parking right in front of the hotel (limited time at daytime)

Our room also had the smell from the 1920s

The host is very friendly and welcoming. Interior is whimsical and full of antique furniture and decor, very well styled. The hotel has a couple of its own parking places during winter, which is convenient.

There were some minor issues — the hotel is very cozy and welcoming, so I’m only deducting 1 point out of 10 for all of this. 😊 but for someone might be important to know, so I'll write what I've noticed. Unfortunately, there is no soundproofing — you can clearly hear when someone nearby or on a lower floor turns on the water or flushes the toilet. Conversations and footsteps on the stairs are also quite noticeable. In my room, the floor was slightly sloped, which at first gave me a feeling of dizziness, as if I were being rocked. There are also not enough power outlets, especially in the bathroom — it would be nice to have one near the mirror to dry your hair. Additionally, the hotel does not provide an iron or any option to press clothes.

This hotel was a positive surprise. Especially the atmosphere which is a sort of historic-romantic approach, without being obsolete but perfectly matching the idealized version of the old ‘kurort’ Schlangenbad. All the facilities are clean and of f perfect quality.

The only point of improvement would be that we prefer an in-person-welcome above calling a telephone number in order to get the doorcode.
