The location is wonderful - in the heart of the town, right by the lakeside and only 5 minutes walk from the railway station. Staff were really helpful and accommodating my request for a late check-in owing to a delayed flight.
The price was really good value, especially for this popular area of Switzerland.
The room was comfortable and clean, and there was loads of capacity in the shared bathrooms which were clean and well appointed.
The shower cubicles were a bit cramped with no shelf/rack for soap, flannel etc. But that's a really minor point - everything else was really good.

Excellent location near the lake and near to Via Francigena route, very comfortable room, very good shared facilities, attractive old building near to attractions.
Nothing really. It was hot in the room when we arrived and when the weather is like this, it would have been helpful to have had the shutters or curtains shut earlier.

Location
It wasn’t peaceful. Shared bathroom, all night people going to the toilet, loud wooden floor and doors. Very very noisy
