Gorgeous Property with Gorgeous views!

Excellent breakfast with local, homemade products

Lovely hotel with beautiful location on the lake. It's a bit outside on Montreux, but they kindly provided free bus travel which runs every 10 minutes from a bus stop right outside the hotel. Rooms and breakfast were all lovely. There is also a pleasant lounge area and outdoor terrace. A good tip is to take the bus from the hote about half way to town and alight at Clarens-Basset. From there there is a promenande all the way into town whuch is a lively 45 minute walk.

Only bad thing was the pillows but not so bad i asked to change them. Good location, reasonable price, good breakfast and friendly staff

It’s a very nice hotel on the lake. Very clean, well maintained. Rooms are adequate size and have what you need. There’s tea on each floor. Breakfast is good. The location is ok but will take some bus ride to get to Montreux

We had a large room with a partial lake view at a very reasonable price.

We had a wonderful meeting with old friends in this hotel which includes several indoor and outdoor areas to gather and spend maravillous time in front of the lake. Outdoor areas and terraces offer wonderful views of the lake and surroundings. Staff was amazing and very serviceable. It was really great.

The grounds, especially the garden and seating areas, were so beautiful. Fresh and delicious vegetables from the garden are featured in the restaurant. Exceptional.

Very nice hotel in a good location.

The property is right on the lakeside and within easy walking distance from the centre of Vevey. The views lakeside are fantastic and change every day depending on the weather. It is a very relaxing place to stay. The bus runs along the main road at the main entrance side of the hotel and they are on time, frequent and there is a bus stop just less than a minutes walk away. Trains are close by too as are the paddle steamers. There is access through the hotel garden down to the promenade which runs all the way from La Tour-de-Peilz to Vevey. The hotel including the rooms are very clean and well looked after, perhaps not totally up to date and might need bringing up to date in places but that was not a problem and was really quite charming. For me the bed was very comfortable. There was no air conditioning in the room, just a fan. It was starting to get hot whilst we were there and we thought that opening the window would cause noise problems (we were roadside) but in the end we were fine. The breakfasts were good although a little bit of variation wouldn't go amis. The staff were extremely obliging and helpful except for the last morning when the young waitress in the dining room thought that it was a good idea to open the patio doors really wide which made the dining room very cold. A lot of people complained as there were a lot of elderly people there and eventually the problem was resolved. For us it was the perfect place to stay at that time.

Really nice place and Vevey was a great town. The only negative was the showers are very small [seemed like 30 x 30 inches]. Staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was very good!
