Very old building with lots of character our room is snug and comfy and kept very clean.
If you wanting comfort this is the place breakfast is included it is just perfect.
Open fire in the bar area if you want a few drinks or a nice meal around bar staff all very friendly.
Very accommodating.
This was our 2nd time visit.
We will return again.
Parking outside is limited but we found it ok and got a spot right outside.
The floor in our bedroom is wonky but this just adds more character to our room.
Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay.
The breakfast not open long enough and finishes far too early.

We had food in the evening which was lovely and the Sunday roast the next day was amazing! The bed was very comfortable. We asked for a later check out as the clocks were going forward and this was no problem at all.
The window in the room was open when we arrived and the heating was not on it was very cold. When the heating did come on the room warmed up quickly. We went to bed at midnight and the room was again very cold.

What we asked for from the kitchen was very good but the choice and quantity of cereal on offer was poor and only enough orange juice for one, also it was the only juice on offer. No bin to dispose of tea bags, little things but should be standard.
The front of the property could be more welcoming not having a large plastic bin of bottles and can on show.walking in the front door gloomy entrance dirty carpet just felt like entering a dated pub.The room we had was ok but in need of a update or decor, painting job.I wasn’t impressed being asked to pay as soon as I walked into the place before seeing room ect.
