I find it hard to believe there would be a better family-sized apartment to stay in Split! It could not be closer to the Old Town, is large enough for a family of four (with two older teenage boys), and has excellent kitchen facilities. Our host was incredibly warm and welcoming, including kindly offering to give us a lift to the airport that required a 0700 pick up on a Sunday! Our host could not do enough to make sure our stay was comfortable. There is a pleasant beach within walking distance, a nearby Tommy's supermarket, and a bakery (Babić pekara - Bačvice) I would recommend to any visitor.

Great location and amazing host super friendly, if you get late there, the kebab place nearby is a must, and bobis for breakfast is the best

Excellent location. Just 5 minutes away from the train and bus stations and 3 minutes from the old town. Vele was a very gracious host and was kind enough to allow us to store our luggage for a few hours after checkout.
