Piazza Marina Chic

Everything!! Gorgeous apartment, fantastic location, right off the main road. So much space and it was wonderful to have a full kitchen. Super close to the grocery store, a wonderful park, and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!

We had 5 people, so only one bathroom was slightly inconvenient. But we made it work!

Great location in the old city near the Marina, very spacious villa-like feel, air conditioning was a life saver! A very stylish accommodation that exceeded our expectations. Luigi was great to meet us when we arrived and showed us all the features of the accommodation, including nice places locally to have breakfast lunch and dinner. I would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone visiting Palermo.

Nothing was a problem. There were two flights of internal marble steps to climb to get to the front door but Luigi helped us here. This is not an issue for anyone with minimal stamina!

Beautifully appointed apartment. Amazing location. Just a lovely lovely apartment with a great feel to it. Someone has an eye for interior design. Luigi was very lovely. Found us in Palermo after we left the flat as we had left a jumper!

The apartment is a great home base for your stay in Palermo! Luigi was an excellent host - we messaged him when we arrived, and he met us to show us the property and provide us with the keys. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. Some of the bedrooms have a unique setup, beds are comfy, and the triple balconies are incredible. The huge tree outside offers privacy while still giving access to the piazzas sights and sounds. It's right off one of the main tourist streets, so you're close to many restaurants, bars, and cafes. You really can't beat the location for visiting Palermo. The staircase leading up to the apartment is wide, so it's easy to get your bags up (just note there isn't an elevator if you have accessibility needs). The bathroom is gorgeous - even has its own balcony! The shower wasn't draining properly when we arrived, and Luigi was super responsive in getting it fixed, and it worked perfectly for the rest of the trip! The full kitchen was amazing, so we didn't have to eat out for all meals.

This didn't bother us, but a note to other guests: we left the balcony doors open when we were home because we had great weather, and there was always a cluster of flies hanging out in the middle of the living room. This didn't bother us, but just something to note to other guests. Another note: the payment for this rental is made in cash and/or a 50% deposit via wire transfer before arrival. This was something I didn't see or realize when booking through Booking.com, and figured it was worth mentioning. My family felt slightly odd carrying that much cash with them into the country for our long stay, but it was ultimately fine, just something to note!
