Really convenient B&B with attentive and friendly host

La Grange is in a beautiful area and convenient for passing through when going Southwards on holiday. The host was very kind and hard working. The room was simple, but met our expectations fully. The beds were good. In the morning we had a really nice breakfast in the backyard at the long table with regional products and healthy options. The area is beautiful and quiet, a typical small French ville. We parked our car in the backyard on the lawn next to the other cars.

Jo was a wonderful host and an amazing chef providing delicious evening meal and great breakfast. La Grange is a gorgeous converted grange with a huge piece of ground with kitchen garden from which fresh produce was taken for meals. I got to park the motorcycle in one of the garages overnight. And also enjoyed taking their dog Oscar for his evening walk around the village.

Very kind owners, who let us in very early in the morning due to serious traffic and sat nav issues. Very hospitable and even woke up early to try and provide me breakfast ☺️ When they had only 3-4 hrs sleep after our arrival

I feel honestly it was ok for one night stop over, but the cleanliness let it down and the toilet is outside of the room. There isn’t an en-suite as such just the shower and sink in the room

Super petit déjeuner avec des produits faits maison dans un cadre très agréable (terrasse sur jardin).

Pas de clef sur la porte de la chambre ni sur la porte fenêtre d'où l'obligation de fermer les volets (chambre donnant sur jardin). Juste souhaiter que la propriétaire ne rentre pas dans la chambre pendant le temps de location (ouverture des volets pendant le petit-déjeuner)

Le vrai esprit des chambres d’hôtes. Le partage avec les propriétaires et les autres clients autour d’un repas ainsi qu’un petit-déjeuner excellent (copieux, généreux et délicieux, avec des produits - légumes, confitures etc- fait maison et du jardin). D’excellents conseils de la part de Joe pour découvrir la région, on est parti avec des adresses, des brochures touristiques etc. Le cadre était au calme, reposant et très accueillant.

Prima verblijf, voor kinderen in jonge leeftijd lastiger

Hele fijne en toffe locatie. Fijn welkom. Gezellige hond Oscar. Kids konden lekker spelen.

Het eetmoment. De tafelschikking was verplicht. 5 kinderen in de leeftijd van 3,5,5,8,9 bij elkaar. Ouders en andere gasten verder aan de tafel. Drie gangen menu; voortreffelijk eten en wijn. Het tafelen duurde te lang voor de kinderen. Was moeilijk vol te houden na een hele dag in de auto zitten en vermoeidheid. (Eten was om 19.30 uur) Voelde ongemakkelijk. Onze kinderen zijn het niet gewend op deze manier. Ik voelde mij als moeder allesbehalve relaxed. Helemaal nadat een mede gast aangaf dat Franse kinderen gewoon goed opgevoed worden om rustig aan tafel te zitten. Gelukkig had de gastheer het wel door en hij was superlief voor de kids. Samen vogeltjes kijken, ijsje eten.

Nous avons apprécié le confort de la chambre et son calme, la qualité du repas du soir et celui du petit déjeuner, la convivialité de nos hôtes et la grande gentillesse d'oscar un labrador chocolat adorable. Cela 4 fois que nous passons à la grange et nous comptons y repasser l'année prochaine sans aucun problème. Je conseille d'y séjourner tout en respectant ce lieux et ses hôtes. Grand merci à eux de nous recevoir chez eux. Mr et Mme Quetelard

Even heerlijk ontspannen

Een heerlijke locatie voor een overnachting onderweg. Met grote tuin waar de hond lekker kan loslopen. Wij hadden mooi weer dus lekker met de andere gasten aan een tafel ontbijten en het, bij ons optionele, diner met groenten uit eigen tuin is een aanrader.

Super lieve gastheer en gastvrouw. Leuke gesprekken gevoerd in het Frans/Engels. Warm ontvangst, ook voor onze drie kinderen. Lekker eten. Prachtige omgeving. We kregen fijne tips om dingen in de buurt te bezichtigen.
