ok, would recommend for one night

it was a 1 night pit stop stay as travelling down France. it was clean and the staff friendly

the pool wasn’t in use (although didn’t read that it was closed). very dated and food not great

Disappointing

Kind owners

I don't keep high standards, but this motel is very out dated. Kindergarten beds and an elf bathroom.

Functional motel, don't expect too much, and pack some warm pyjamas.

The staff (apparently all of Chinese origin) were all extremely nice and welcoming, and the room was very clean. The water was nice and hot, and there was decent shower pressure. The room was also very big.

Although our stay was in August, we were cold in the room, and there was only one extra blanket provided. Also, we could hear our neighbours in the next rooms quite clearly through the walls. This is a motel which was clearly built in the halcyon days of the motel in the 1960s, and has not been modernised ever since. The exterior of the motel rooms looks shabby. It would benefit from some investment and upgrading to make it more welcoming.

An odd mix of domesticity and crazy.

The inside of the chalet was clean and comfy and the single member of staff we met was pleasant.

We were the sole guests in a huge palimpsest of various rundown chalets with tumbleweed blowing about, a half-filled mildewed pool, an algae-topped lake and a shooting range / hunting wood next door. It was like the set of many, many horror films.

Lack of restaurant. Used motel overnight stop after non stop 16 hr journey. Extremely tired on arrival.. inconvenient having to go out looking for somewhere to eat. No tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Excellent séjour

J’ai passé un excellent séjour dans ce motel des Bruyères. Tout était parfait. Il s’agit d’un hôtel qui a sa propre personnalité. L’accueil fut très sympathique. C’est un hôtel que je vous recommande.
