Don’t expect hospitality

The host receiving us knew we would arrive at 8pm. We were not given access instructions. She did not respond to emails while we sat on the driveway for 15 minutes. She called us at 8:23pm. Upon arrival she appeared sick- red, glossy eyes. We understandably wanted to limit our exposure. She insisted that we put everything down and give her our physical passports before she would give us access to the room. We have traveled extensively throughout many countries, no host has ever treated us this way. The host should A) provide access instructions in advance in order that clients understand how to access the building. B) provide a no contact way to access the unit when she is sick C) when clients are carrying heavy luggage allow them to drop their things in the room. D)apologize and acknowledge that they slept through the arrival time

Garden aspect and quieter pace away from the traffic

Fridge and appliances were turned off during the day with breakfast stuff in the fridge. Cold meats were borderline the next day. Pillows need replacement

I like the location and the fact that i had a car in the garage while it was snowing.

There is no heating available in the bathroom, it was cold. Also heating didnt work in other rooms as it should. It wasn't cold, but it could be warmer, specially if there is minus outside.

We liked the price and the modernitiy of the place, the fact that a garage is available and that is not that far from the center (if you go there outside of the Christmas Markets)

The room was cold when we arrived because warming is placed in the floor and takes a lot (as per messages with the host) to raise the room temperature: it would have been a good idea to turn it on before we arrived, mostly because we were with a 2 years old child. Being an actual house turned B&B, the door of the room were not that isolated, so we could hear lots of the voices for people from the other room/s).

The entire hotel complex is in urgent need of renovation. booked parking but were able to provide a spot on the side of the road 300 meters from the hotel even though there was a garage in the basement of the hotel.

Absolutely Fabulous.

The B&B was excellent...comfortable beds...and an amazing breakfast that was laid out in an area in the bedroom itself. In the morning, fresh bread was delivered to our room. A wrap around balcony with the view of the Dolomites and fresh apple orchards made the stay perfect. A 5 minute drive out of the main city of Bolzano but completely worth it. Highly recommend.

It was very nice that Priscilla put out bread for our breakfast. It wasn’t clear on the first morning. Priscilla was very helpful in providing input and advice for our activities.

The property and the surroundings are out of a fairytale. I loved how peaceful and quiet it is. definitely planning to go back when the weather is nice and hopefully the vineyards will be full of grapes. the rooms are well equipped, mini fridge, toaster, coffee machine, etc … it was extremely clean, same for the rest of the house. Even the communal areas were extremely tidy. There is a safe garage for the car which was a big plus. And last but not least, the host were amazing. They helped us find a nice place to eat on a Sunday night which in Italy can be challenging.

Very poor value for money.

Convenient car parking in the garage downstairs, very close to Bolzano however quiet and peaceful location among the apple orchards. Nice view of the mountains from the terrace.

Even though the location is nice, many disadvantages made this stay a disappointment. It is very dirty and run down. The floor was very stained and sticky when we arrived. The toilet is cracked and looks like it might come off the wall any time soon. The curtains were dirty and torn. There were old coffee grounds and smelly water in the coffee machine. There was a bunch of dead bugs in the ceiling light. We were travelling with our child and ordered a family room. It says on the Booking that it consists of two connecting rooms; however, we got only one room. There was a collapsible baby bed in the closet, however no sheets, no pillow and no towels for the child. When we noticed this, we went down to the reception, but there was nobody there. There were no mosquito nets on the balcony. The shower was leaking. The furniture on the patio was dirty and mouldy. The cobwebs and a corkscrew we found indicates that probably nobody had cleaned it before we arrived.

What a view

While it was a little bit unclear where to go at first, the host was very kind, check-in went smoothly and the room was very nice. You’re in the city centre in about 10-15 minutes by car and there is an ok parkingspot in the street.

The pillows were rather uncomfortable (our opinion and experience of course). There was lots of coffee liquid from someone else on the counter, so that wasn’t cleaned very properly, but other than that everything was fine! :)
