We have visited Vesteralen more than once and this old tradepost and postoffice belongs to our best memories. Take your time. We also enjoyed Lobe’a art of Norwegian cooking.

The photos don’t do this place justice. I cannot recommend staying here enough. The house and rooms are designed extremely beautifully, combined with views of the sea. The food is delicious and we felt incredibly well taken care of. The host is able to tell you everything about the house and the region and gives excellent advice if you’re not sure what to do. I highly recommend spending an evening in the lounge with a glass of wine. We will definitely be back.

Quaint but tiny room in old harbour building.
Shower flooded the bathroom because builders hadn't done the work properly. No cooking facilities, only microwave.
