Olive Tree Guest House

Booked this as a fairly last minute stay after a visit to Alton towers, it's a very old quirky building but well looked after, rooms were comfortable with tea and coffee supplied. Hosts were very welcoming and the breakfast the following day was lovely.

We used Olive tree guest house as a last-minute stop off to Alton towers on the way home from a week away. 20minutes from the park, clean, welcoming and friendly, we were very happy to have found this room!! Breakfast was amazing and when we visit again, The Olive tree guest house will be out look out for accommodation near to the park.

Very clean and comfortable bed, breakfast was excellent. Very welcoming host, I felt safe.

TV didn’t work but that was a minor issue.

The rooms are clean.

Dogs in the building. I know I probably should have checked this but because I have allergies, I was itching all night and the itching got worse in the morning before breakfast. I had to take antihistamine to relief the itching. Also, while I understand that they ask you to reorder your breakfast, it'd be nice if the fruits and cereals are left out for people to choose. It was kinda awkward to be asked what cereal and fruit we liked when we really can't see these. Especially fruit is a bit tricky to choose without seeing it. I would've got 2 fruits and a yoghurt but it felt awkward when I had to ask what fruit do you have?
