Great location and staff

Really spacious bedrooms and lovely style. Perfect location for Alton Towers and plenty parking in their private car park. Staff were lovely

The sofas were quite small for 5/6 people, so maybe not the best if you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the living room. There was also no free toiletries as advertised. Slight noise from the below pub in the mornings (hoovering/chatting etc), and from customers in the evenings however we were out late and getting up early so it didn’t cause much bother. I think a chain/latch on the door would have been good for that extra bit of security from the below pub

We thought it was a great apartment, lots of room and especially appreciated ensuite in both bedrooms.

The check-in was quite late and the checkout was quite early compared to other properties.

Great and stunning place to stay

Just the incorrect info on the booking.com being different to the owner, loud music(which couldn't be helped with it being a pub so that's on us).and would of loved interaction with the staff service wise as with having young kids coming down the bar wouldn't of been a good idea but again I should of checked before booking as again the site has incorrect information. However the apartment was stunning, clean and beautiful.

The room is above a bar so we were able to relax and have a couple of drinks and games of pool before bed and the location is so close to alton towers the next morning after a fabulous breakfast

Worth it.

Really enjoyed my stay, had a really comfy bed, the bathroom was really clean and the staff were so friendly. The breakfast was also really nice and it’s nice to have a little walk around the area.

Pub was nice and quite lively in evening

No food served and nothing available locally, we ended up ordering pizza which took over an hour to come. Also we were only guests and when we came down at 9.50 were told 'chef has packed up' no breakfast. Given no food served night before some effort to inform their only guest of restrictive breakfast might have been appreciated.

We were warned after booking that there would be Karaoke in the bar therefore noise until late so probably not ideal if you want an early night. Music was off at 23:30.

Great location for Alton Towers. Village setting is lovely. Expect a bit of noise as it’s a pub but really didn’t bother us. Had the bell ringers practising too but that was lovely! Thoughtful touches of toiletries and sanitary products. Breakfast was fab!

Shame we couldn’t eat there as food is only served from Wednesdays but highly recommend the Bull pub across the road - food was lovely

Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast.

The door to the room kept banging everytime someone opened a door, had to wedge it shut. Bathroom windows and blind were covered in mould. Walls very thin, we could here the bar downstairs the whole evening. Sounded like they were playing skittles till 12am. The church clock, which is right next to the pub, rings every hour including the night.

Warm, cosy, very clean. Lots of history, but felt modern and fresh. Great beer. Very friendly and helpful staff.
