The comfort, the quiet, the food, the charm of the old place. Beautiful and authentic hotel. Well maintained. Free bicycles which I enjoyed. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.

Nice hotel but no restaurant on Sundays

Given that this is shown as a 4 star hotel on the Booking. com website we were very disappointed that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening. We understand that this might be typical in Germany but this should be stated in the services detailed on the website. The ‘hotel’ is effectively a ‘Bed and Breakfast’ on Sundays.

A perfect hotel for a short or long stay!

This hotel has very good rooms, breakfast and dinner as well as many extras. What makes it extra special is the great team that makes you feel very welcome and at ease. We stayed here for 6 nights and had a very good time. There is much to see and do in this part of Bavaria. We will definitely come back someday!

I have made a 100 km hook to stay in the hotel. Smell of the wood, sauna - it was the same gorgeous. We stayed there 10 years ago for the first time and it was worth it to come back

Typisch bayrisches Hotel mit Biergarten, historisch eingerichtet, nette Leute aber etwas teuer.

Das Frühstück und auch das Essen im Restaurant war sehr gut. Parkplätze kostenlos direkt am Haus und sogar ein Fahrstuhl, das findet man nicht immer. Gasefenster ist eine gute Idee, Danke!

Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas altmodisch (eiche-rustikal) auch wenn dies zu Bayern gehört, zu mir gehört es nicht. Der Schreibtisch war sehr unbequem. Bei offenem Fenster war es nachts durch vorbeirasende Kfz oft sehr laut. Im Sommer ohne Klimaanlage ist es eben sehr warm.

Wir haben uns im Hause Moosleitner rundum sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es war möglich einen persönlichen Kontakt zu den Inhabern herzustellen, was den Aufenthalt noch aufwertete.

Ein Reinfall.

Garage war zusätzlich buchbar.(kostenpflichtig) Das Restaurant ist zu empfehlen .

Zimmerbilder zu größenteils vom neuen Gästehaus. Im alten Gasthaus sind die Zimmer deutlich schlechter. Mein Zimmer direkt über der Gastronomie und somit sehr laut . Außerdem eine sehr befahrene Strassen direkt daneben und auch sehr laut. Zimmer war sehr warm Fenster musste man aufmachen , Klimaanlage gab es nicht.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel

Sehr schönes Zimmer und das Frühstück war auch sehr gut. Genügend Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Das Hotel befindet sich ein wenig ausserhalb von Freilassing. Sehr nette und kompetente Mitarbeiterinnen.

Tolles Hotel, sehr gutes Essen, aber für uns unglückliche Lage

Sehr saubere und offenbar noch fast neue Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Sehr ruhig dank der Raumaufteilung und Dreifachverglasung. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war sehr gut - gehobene Küche für bodenständige Preise.

Vorweg sei gesagt, das der "Mangel" nicht in Verantwortung des Hotels liegt. Wir waren vorwiegend im Berchtesgardener Land unterwegs und dafür liegt das Hotel ungünstig. In Verbindung mit der wochentags angespannten Verkehrslage brauchten wir täglich insgesamt ca. zwei Stunden Fahrzeit für den Weg hin und zurück an unsere Zielpunkte in 40 bis 50 km Entfernung.
