Lovely apartment and host. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs.

Lovely apartment in the suburbs of Strassbourg. View to the garden is lovely, although you can't actually go out into it. The only bad thing is the trains, which pass very often and all through the night. I lost sleep. Otherwise, comfortable and clean.

Train track is just outside and trains pass all day and night!

Fantastic location, comfortable beds and seating, bonus hot tub

We loved this property and the hosts! The beds were large and comfortable, plenty of room in each bedroom, and the hosts included extra plugs and USB plugs by the bedside. Terrific water pressure and beautiful bathrooms (bring your own soap and shampoo, but not a big deal and liquid hand soap was provided). Plenty of privacy within the apartment and from the outside world and very quiet - the trains go by quickly and we hardly noticed them. The property was very, very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals (all the pots and pan, dishwasher tabs, etc) and eat at the large dining room table. Everything was comfortable - beds, dining chairs, living room chairs and sofa. We loved the hot tub and used it almost every night. We were there at the end of May and the sunset was around 9:30pm, so it was nice to have longer days and cool nights - windows open every night. The location needs a car and/or bicycles, but it was less than 10 minutes to drive to the large parking lot at the tram and get into historic Strasbourg quickly and easily. We did park in the city one time and ended the day saying why didn't we take the tram? Jean-Paul and Ann are to be commended for providing such a fantastic place to stay! Really nice place, spacious with all necessary equipment. The jacuzzi is really nice. The owners are very nice. The soundproofing is perfect.

You need a car to drive to the closest park and ride parking lot to take the tram to the city center. That's only a 5 minutes drive. Parking + 2 ways tram ticket is only 4,20€ in total, for all car passengers.

Clean, modern apartment on the first floor of a house; friendly owner who lives on site; speaks German and English (in addition to French); well-equipped kitchen; nice shower and comfy bed and pillows; nice dining room with large windows looking out on nature; situated by a scenic canal (but more for bike riders than walkers so watch out); parking on site right in front of the house; supermarket not far away; short drive to the tram stop for going into the city.

Train passes nearby but doesn’t run during the night; odd WiFi set up with something Quickspot; works well but have to first register to use it and then sign in again each day.

Spotlessly clean and quiet little house

Very easy to get to Strasbourg from apartment by bus, 2min away, and connecting tram. Far easier than taking the car in. 15min in total. Big, comfy apartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. Quiet and alongside a nice canal. Parking free and on site. Washing machine, iron and jacuzzi. Nice touch was the cleaning products, milk, juice and bread on arrival and assortment of condiments. Detailed list of restaurants and facilities nearby plus maps and tourist info which was great. Everything spotlessly clean. Wifi worked but required a daily log in proves. Great for families!

Ideal!

Wie von vielen beschrieben ist es eine sehr gute Unterkunft, geräumig, die Küche bestens ausgestattet, Parkplatz am Haus und ein sehr hilfsbereiten Vermieter. Durch die Lage am Kanal konnten wir da auch kleine Spaziergänge machen. Für die Stadtbesichtigungen nahmen wir zunächst das Auto bis zum P&R Elsau dann mit der Tram. Eine sehr gute und preisgünstige Lösung!

Sehr vieles gibt es da nicht zu sagen. Unser Badezimmer war recht klein und eng mit wenig Ablagefläche, aber noch akzeptabel. Falls jemand empfindlich für Geräusche ist, sollte man wissen, dass das Haus von zwei Bahnlinien umgeben ist, die man manchmal deutlich hört. Uns hat es nicht gestört.

La gentillesse de notre hôte et ses conseils. Le magnifique appartement. Le jacuzzi dans un environnement plein d’arbres et d’oiseaux. L’espace et la luminosité de l’appartement.

Les mobilier de salon plus ou moins confortable. Mais c’est négligeable en comparaison de tout le reste .

Entspanntes Wohnen in Stadtnähe

Unser Vermieter hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen, alle technischen Einrichtungen umfassend erklärt und viele nützliche Tipps gegeben. Die Wohnung liegt neben einem Kanal, ist gut ausgestattet und die Betten sind sehr bequem, der Jacuzzi ist ein echtes Highlight. Alles war sauber und gut gepflegt und für unsere Familienkonstellation (zwei Erwachsenenpaare) bestens geeignet, da es zwei separate Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Bad gibt. Wir vier hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Straßburg und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen - besonders auch für Freizeitradler (zahlreiche Fahrradwege in unmittelbarer Nähe).

Super Wohnung mit hervorragender Ausstattung und Bestückung sowie toller Lage

Ausstattung sehr gut. Kaffeekapseln und Toilettenpapier für den gesamten Aufenthalt vorrätig. Marmelade, Orangensaft, Butter, Toast und Milch waren für die Erstversorgung vorhanden. Die Lage am Kanal und die Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind einwandfrei. Die zusätzlichen Tipps von Jean-Paul waren sehr hilfreich. Die Übergabe ist professionell und routiniert.

Mit den deutschen Fernsehsendern gab es zwar Probleme, jedoch war dies für uns eher irrelevant.

Een fijn ruim appartement. Slechts 10 min. van het centrum, en je fietst direct het buitengebied in.

We zijn heel gastvrij ontvangen bij aankomst. De accommodatie is ruim, netjes en compleet. De eigenaar had voor aankomst brood, melk en koffie klaargezet. Het huis is gunstig gelegen: in een groene omgeving aan de stadsrand. Slechts 10 minuten (auto) naar het centrum en vlakbij de snelweg. En als je een fiets bij je hebt: neem het (snel)fietspad langs het Canal de la Bruche en geniet van het buitengebied ten westen van de stad.

Schöner Aufenthalt ohne großen Trubel in Straßburg

Wir hatten unsere Ankunft ca. 1 Stunde vorher avisiert und Jean Paul erwartete uns bereits. Er und seine Frau wohnen im gleichen Gebäude im Obergeschoss. Nach einer kurzen Begehung und Einweisung in die Ferienwohnung hatte Jean Paul hilfreiche Tipps für einen Aufenthalt in Straßburg. Die Wohnung liegt außerhalb des Zentrums, dieses ist aber nach einer 5 minütiger Autofahrt zu einem P+R Parkplatz mit der Straßenbahn nach ca. 5 Stationen erreicht. Tagespreis für Parken und ÖPNV bis 7 Personen EUR 4,20!! Die Wohnung ist komplett neu renoviert und in einem tadellosen sauberen Zustand. Alles was man für einen Selbstversorgerurlaub braucht ist vorhanden. Die Betten sind bequem, die Räumlichkeiten großzügig. Für die Erstversorgung waren Toastbrot, Orangensaft, Butter und Marmelade im Kühlschrank vorhanden. Für Kaffee- und Teetrinker ist auch bestens gesorgt. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt bei sehr freundlichen und netten Gastgeber.

Super, unbedingt empfehlenswert

Sehr netter Gastgeber. Für das erste Frühstück war bereits der Kühlschrank mit allem, was man braucht, gefüllt. Zusätzlich gab es Kaffeekapseln und Tee. Der exzellent Deutsch sprechende Gastgeber gab uns den hervorragenden Tipp für Park &Ride nach City Strasbourg. Eine schöne Wohnung, gute Betten und tolle Lage. Vielen lieben Dank an unseren Gastgeber.

der Vermieter ist freundlich, kann super deutsch sprechen. die Wohnung ist sehr groß, die Küche super ausgestattet und alles sehr sauber. Der Jacuzzi ist groß und sehr komfortabel

negativ ist der hohe Preis für die Unterkunft. Die Betten waren etwas hart / unbequem.
