Loved the accommodations. The area was beautiful. Only one restaurant in the town but was not a problem, the house was well equipped with appliances & dishes. We loved the outdoor area for our BBQ’s. Hosts were very accommodating & friendly. Perfect for large groups

The Groene Wout was exceptional in every way. The accomodations were very comfortable and met all our needs. The kids loved the playground and the animals and the town is quiet and peaceful and beautiful. The hosts went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need, especially since we came from such a great distance. We will definitely recommend this accomodation to others!

This lovely place had definitely the WOW factor for us. There is ample space for a large group to get together in the Rijtuigenschuur. It's cozy and warm with the underfloor heating, something we really appreciated at the time of our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. And the bedrooms are spacious, simple yet nicely furnished. A lot of hard work has gone into the place and that shows with the finishing touches. We were very happy with our stay whilst visiting family. A top accommodation!

We had a lovely time in Goudriaan. The barn has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and accommodated our group of 4 couples and children perfectly. There is a small fenced garden and Goudriaan itself is a quaint village with beautiful houses to look at while having a stroll up and down or venturing to the larger than expected playground. Jelmer and Gerda have been great hosts that welcomed us warmly and were easy and available when needed. Thank you! I would recommend this accommodation for bigger groups and short stays. Winter limits activity in the area but in the summer this area must be Perfect for cycling. If you have a Dog, Jelmer and Gerda welcome four legged friends and walking would be on lead, on road only. ( Area is therefore not great for more demanding canine friends.)

We took my son and his family to the Netherlands for the first time this summer staying at this location for a week. It was selected because of it's proximity to my home town of Dordrecht BUT also , and very important , because of the amenities the house offers. We were delighted with the hosts, it's location, and the rural nature of the environment. We will forever recommend tis house and location.

Our group of 9 MAMILs had a fantastic week staying in Jelmer and Gerda's barn conversion in June 2019. The barn was spacious with a great dining table to sit around. The beds were comfortable and everything spotless. The central location was excellent for cycling trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Arnhem, nice flat terrain and almost entirely on cycle paths, ideal for our group who concentrate on food and wine more than spinning. The barn is situated in a picturesque quiet village. Quiet at night with no bars or restaurants nearby but that suited us as we catered for ourselves. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and we had a successful 2019 boys' trip. Very many thanks.

We absolutely loved our stay here in Goudriaan and Jelmer and his family were ideal hosts.

Communication with Jelmer was prompt and friendly throughout and he was extremely welcoming upon arrival; giving us some good ideas of places to visit and local practical info too. The property itself was first class and extremely clean, with very comfortable beds and lots of space for our whole party. Lots of parking spaces and some lovely outdoor seated areas add to the experience too - but the real wow factor is the playground, football pitch and mini zoo! We had 5 kids with us and this amazing bonus area made all the difference - with them being on the trampoline for hours a day. Jelmer even produced some kittens on the last day which made the trip! The area itself is beautiful and quintisentially Dutch with canals and windmills everywhere; with a very nice restaurant by the bridge as you come into the town. It’s also very pleasant for Cycling and we managed to get out on the bikes most days as well. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend. Thank you all!

Het huis is perfect gelegen om Gouda, Dordrecht, Utrecht of Biesbosch te bezoeken (ongeveer 30 minuutjes). Prachtig groot huis met voldoende plek, piekfijn op orde en met alle nodige uitrustingen. Voor de kids zijn er spelletjes buiten en ook diertjes die mogen gevoerd worden. Zeker een aanrader !

Nous étions 8 pêcheurs, comme indiqué dans l’annonce prévu pour 13 adultes. Aucun problème de vie en communauté, aucun problème pour cuisiner et prendre les repas. De plus il y a un parking pour les voitures derrières. Sinon au niveau pêche, la maison est bien située pour pêcher (presque) à pied, on va pas se mentir c’est toujours plus pratique et rapide en voiture. Tout le monde a apprécié la maison

Een heerlijke woning, met goede faciliteiten. Je hebt er gelijk het gevoel van thuis zijn, mede door de prettige eigenaren. Prima onderhouden, en een topper is de handdoekenwissel elke 2 dagen!!! Leuke speelweide voor de kleintjes, als ook de aanwezige dieren die elk bezoekje waarderen. Meer dan genoeg te doen in de directe omgeving, leuke uitvalshoek.

Wir durften einen schönen Urlaub in Gooudrian verleben. Es war eine ne schöne Zeit bei gutem Wetter. Unsere Enkelkinder könnten im eingezäunten Garten spielen oder auch auf das weitere Gelände mit einem Erwachsenen spielen gehen. Dort gibt es Schweine, ein Esel, ein Pony, Hühner und Singvögel. Auch der Spielplatz am Haus ist super! Unser Vermieter, Herr Jelmer hat uns immer gute Insidertipps gegeben. Alles super! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke :)!

Jelmer en Gerda stonden altijd klaar om aan onze wensen te voldoen. De Rijtuigenschuur is rustig gelegen, tussen weilanden, sloten en enkele molens. Aanwezeigheid van varkentjes, een ezel, een poney en kippen werd zeer op prijs gesteld. En niet te vergeten het speelterrein met trempoline, fietswagens enz, plus het voetbalveldtje. Een grote Albert Heijn in Giessenburg (10 minuten met de auto). Goede verbinding om toeristenplaatsen als Zaanse Schans, Den Haag, Rotterdam, Utrecht met de auto te bezoeken.

Auch der Hof bietet mehrere Möglichkeiten, um sich zu beschäftigen, z. B. mit den Schweinen. Die Jungs hatten ihre Freude beim Füttern. Bei Fragen oder Ideen zur Freizeitgestaltung war man bei Jelmer an der richtigen Adresse. Insgesamt war die Woche ein toller Erfolg.

"De Rijtuigenschuur" wurde von Jelmer und Gerda sehr liebevoll restauriert! Wir haben uns mit insg. vier Familien (inkl. jeder Menge Kinder & zwei Hunden) dort eingenistet und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein großer Gemeinschaftsbereich mit einem riesigen Tisch und einer vollausgestatteten Küche, sowie gemütliche Schlafzimmer und 3 Bäder bieten auch bei vollem Haus ausreichend Platz für alle. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Il nostro é stato un soggiorno davvero speciale! La casa é molto confortevole, ampia, adatta a gruppi numerosi. Vi é anche molto spazio all'esterno, compresa una bellissima area giochi per bambini. Inoltre sia la casa che l'esterno sono molto puliti e ordinati. I padroni di casa sono veramente disponibili e gentili e ci hanno dato numerose indicazioni anche sui luoghi da visitare e su come muoverci in zona. ll contesto é da favola, tutto é molto curato e gli animali dei proprietari sono molto amichevoli. Le nostre bambine sono letteralmente impazzite per il cane, il gatto, l'asino, il pony, i maialini e le galline! Infine la posizione é ottima per visitare le maggiori cittá olandesi quali Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Delft, The Hague, Delft. Da non perdere un bel giro in bicicletta nei dintorni della casa, ci sono delle campagne meravigliose dove si possono vedere paesaggi da fiaba, compresi i mulini a vento. Assolutamente consigliato! Complimenti a Jelmer e Gerda e un caro saluto
