Perfect entertainment for young kids. Playgrounds, pool, shows, baby disco... Sweet animals to feed and cuddle. The little one had the time of her life. The chalet was confortable, if a bit on the small side. However, since it was good weather, we could eat outside. The food options were good. Shop also had fresh bread and good variety of fresh and packed food. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the small chariots, useful to carry stuff and kids around. Pool was excellent. Parking easy.

All in all a bit overpriced. We were not allowed to take a small chalet for 2 adults and a 2yo kid, which left us with a choice of a chalet for 4, spending much more than originally budgeted. The restaurant offered evening menu, where the price for a 2yo was over 14 Euros. Our little one hardly ate anything. I can understand the policy, but that put us adults off going to the buffet. Having to book restaurant and pool visits in advance was also a bit inconvenient when travelling with a small child.

The property is ideal for kids. We loved the indoor playground, the petting farm, the swimming pool in the boathouse and the buggys and ducks that were all over the place.

The fact that it is outdoor with high temps there are loooots of flies and mosquitos and also heat in the polder lodges. I had to give my daughter antihistaminic because of all the bites she got at night. Not to mention she couldn’t sleep and cried because she could hear the mosquitos buzzing all over her. She got bites all over her body. It’s a good idea if the resort mentions that to all visitors just in case someone has allergies.

We hadden een huisje met 1 aparte slaapkamer geboekt, maar het bed stond gewoon in de woonruimte.

Vriendelijk personeel, kindvriendelijk park, leuke shows. Aanrader met jonge kinderen.

Het was te warm om in de chalet te zijn. Dit pinksterweekend was het buiten zo’n 29 graden. Binnen in het chalet liep het tegen de 40 graden en omdat er maar aan 1 kant ramen zitten kon je het niet goed luchten. We hebben het twee nachten geprobeerd. Dat waren slapeloze plaknachten met twee jonge kinderen. Ofwel: drama. Vanaf een uur of 5 ‘‘s nachts werd het koel genoeg om nog een oogje dicht te doen. Nog een extra waaier gehad van het vriendelijke personeel, maar het was vechten tegen de bierkaai. Na twee brakke nachten hebben we besloten eerder naar huis te gaan. Het personeel begreep ons helemaal en erkende dat het niet te doen is in deze chalets. Ik denk dat hier werk aan de winkel is voor het management. We hebben €500+ betaald voor drie nachten in een sauna. Omboeken kon naar een ander huisje voor €360 voor 2 nachten. Ons advies: ga er alleen heen als het buiten niet warmer dan 23 graden is, in dat geval was er geen vuiltje aan de lucht geweest.
