Canal House in Historic City Center Gouda

Ideal location, a stones throw away from the Old Town Hall but very quiet. Spacious appartments, clean and comfortable. Lots of character and nicely furnished 3 bedroom appartment. Nice kitchen/dining area with lots of space. Great bathroom. Good beds and nice beddings, easy to park on the premises. Very quick to respond to questions on the app or phone. We spent a great weekend in Gouda!

Really minor things: not all bedlamps were working. Some frying pans were a bit warped, making it more difficult to cook on the induction system.

This ground floor apartment was stunning. Very spacious, modern and light. Very clean throughout and good quality beds that were very comfy. Well equipped with plenty of crockery/kitchen ware and nothing obvious missing that we wished had been provided. The coffee maker and capsules was a nice touch. Excellent shower/bathroom plus an extra toilet. Fast Wifi. The off road car parking was a good feature (just to the side of the house with plenty of space and always available). Location couldn't have been better, just a few minutes from the historic areas, main square or the modern shopping area. Easy to wander around the whole city taking the short passages from street to street. Our canal (as we came to call it) was also a beautiful setting in itself. Plenty of info from Khalid in advance of our arrival, and very easy to deal with/responsive to messages when we had a query.

Most of the time the location was absolutely perfect but on the Friday and Saturday nights we could hear exuberant partying from some distance away. The front bedroom was affected more than others when people passed but we slept through most it and it wasn't much of an issue for us.

The location was ideal: quiet but within 5 minutes walk of the town centre. The accommodation was spacious and the sofa bed very comfortable (I'm told). We particularly liked the kitchen and the very airy living area.

No dislikes per se: the apartment is at the rear of the building, but this means that you have privacy to enjoy the picnic table outside.

The place is spectacular! Fully equipped, super clean, very convenient. Felt like home. The view of the street and the canal is outstanding. Khalid is very kind and helpful. The communication was quick and easy. We definitely recommend this apartment.

modern and very nice flat in the city center, two minutes walk from the main square, the location is amazing. two toilets is always good to have. seating in the courtyard is also good for dining and breakfast in the summer.

we were kinda disappointed we didn’t have the view at canal in the two room apartment, we automaticly asumed we would have it,so if u want it,book bigger flat in the house. also, the courtyard is looking like construction site with differenřt vehicles,so it’s not like other pretty courtyards like other in Gouda. also one room has only glass doors,so it’s kinda weird to have it open at night to get some fresh air,that’s why it can get hot in the night in the one room.

The apartment was beautiful, clean and furnished to fit all needs for a short stay. It is as shown in the pictures in the website, no artificial photo makeup. We were four adults and stayed very comfortably. Five or six people could also still be comfortable, since the rooms are large, with natural light, there is plenty of space. There is a convenient parking lot belonging to the property, next to the building, which is in the city centre, a short walk to most points of interest. The owners are very nice and friendly!

The house was very central and comfortable. Khalid was helpful and responded quickly to questions. It was nice that we could park the car closeby as well.

There were no curtains in the living room and at one point in the evening we had passersby staring into our window.

1. De bedden; sommigen veel te hard, andere weer veel te zacht. 2. De harde stoelen, zitten erg oncomfortabel. 3. De rioollucht in de badkamer.

De locatie dichtbij/in het centrum. Het is een ruim appartement. Alles was aanwezig.

Er hing een vervelende geur in het appartement. Het tafeltje naast het bed plakte. De snoeren van de leeslampen waren te kort.

Ons verblijf in dit luxe appartement in het centrum van Gouda was werkelijk uitstekend. Ondanks de centrale ligging bevindt het appartement zich aan een rustige straat, waardoor je optimaal kunt genieten van de sfeer van de stad zonder last te hebben van drukte of geluid. Het appartement zelf is modern, stijlvol en tot in de puntjes afgewerkt. Alles straalt comfort uit: van de luxe materialen tot de doordachte inrichting en de complete voorzieningen. Je merkt dat er echt aandacht is besteed aan kwaliteit en gemak. De communicatie met de eigenaar was bovendien erg prettig. Snel, vriendelijk en duidelijk – precies wat je hoopt wanneer je ergens te gast bent. Een groot pluspunt is ook de mogelijkheid om op eigen terrein te parkeren, wat in een binnenstad als Gouda echt een uitkomst is. Kortom: een schitterend appartement op een toplocatie, met alle gemakken die je maar kunt wensen. Een absolute aanrader voor iedereen die Gouda in stijl wil ervaren!

Een kleine tip: Het zou fijn zijn om wat extra ruimte te hebben om winterjassen op te hangen, bijvoorbeeld via een losse kapstok. Daarnaast zou een extra spiegel erg praktisch zijn, en – omdat het appartement geschikt is voor zes personen – zou een extra wastafel in een van de kamers het comfort nog verder verhogen.

De locatie is geweldig in centrum Gouda.

Een prima locatie, markt, restaurants, musea enz. op loopafstand. Appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en keuken is goed geoutilleerd, ook al hebben we alleen in het appartement ontbeten, verder buiten de deur geluncht/gedineerd. Ik zal dit appartement zeker aan kennissen/vrienden aanbevelen. Ook Gouda is een leuk stadje voor een stedentrip. Leuke stadswandeling gemaakt (ANWB stadswandeling Gouda) en tentoonstelling van Jo Koster in museum Gouda was zeer de moeite waard.
