We stayed in a Japanese-style room with a private bath, traditional dinner, and breakfast — it was a truly pleasant and authentic experience.
However, if you book a standard room and plan to use the public onsen, keep in mind that it’s not remarkable at all: rather old, not very cozy, and lacking atmosphere. The outdoor bath is nice, but it’s not enough to come here specifically for the onsen.

"Own private outdoor bath is a luxury. This hotel is super well equipped for bath needs. They even have grass woven hats for outdoor bath in the rain.
We bathed several times a day slept very well."
