Isaribi (No Children)

My husband and I had such a lovely and relaxing time here. It was a great break from the busy cities. The private onsens outside were spectacular, so was the one in our room. The food was such an experience, such a good variety of food and very yummy. We felt very fancy having it served in our rooms! The staff were friendly and attentive, genuinely great hospitality! The location was off the beaten track, which is what I wanted, so many cool adventures to go on - Mt Omuro is close by, we definitely recommend doing that! Such an amazing memory, I miss this ryokan so much. Thank you!

Listening to the birds and the ocean while relaxing in our private outdoor onsen felt like a complete reset from the stress and exhaustion of traveling. The breakfast and dinner were excellent every day, with constantly changing menus focused on fresh local fish and regional specialties. It was always exciting to discover what would be served next. The staff were also amazing — incredibly kind, attentive, and thoughtful. They even prepared delicious cake for us to take on a hiking trip, which was such a lovely gesture. This entire experience is now at the very top of my list when it comes to relaxing spa-like retreats, and I cannot recommend it enough for anyone looking to disconnect, recharge, and experience a more peaceful side of Japan.

The food was excellent, breakfast and evening meal.
