Despot Slav Hotel & Restaurant

Our arrival was delayed due to a serious traffic accident that shut down traffic for hours. The receptionist/hostess reached out to us to confirm that we were coming and was there to greet us when we arrived, so much later than we had expected to. She was a delight. The staff was great. The breakfast and dinner were delicious, the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. It is our favorite experience of our trip, so far.

It was difficult for my traveling companion to manage his bag up the stairs due to an injury to his ankle days before. I was able to help him so it was no big deal. The rustic, friendly and authentic atmosphere far out weighed the convenience an elevator would have provided.

Good Location and friendly staff

Room maintenance needs some improvement. Only one of three light bulbs in the shower was working.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the food was amazing, the building is beautiful, and it is a perfect location.

The location is nice, you can park your car in front, and the fire pit is really nice! It has a really nice restaurant right next to the hotel.

The room was dirty and old. The bathroom was really old, dirty, and a bit disgusting. It's too expensive for what you get. I would not return.
