The warmest stay in Inverness

If I tried to describe everything we loved about this place, the review would be endless! So I’ll keep it simple: if Fisherman’s Lodge is available in Inverness, don’t even think about staying anywhere else. It didn’t feel like a regular Booking rental at all — more like staying at a friend’s beautifully decorated home. The view is stunning, the house is full of charm and elegance, and it has everything you could possibly need (and more!). We kept saying how much we wished we could stay longer. Hazel, the host, truly deserves special praise. She doesn’t live in the house, but she has prepared it as if she does — perfectly clean, thoughtfully equipped, and incredibly welcoming. She was so kind and attentive throughout our stay, making us feel completely at home. Thank you, Hazel, for such a wonderful experience. If your budget allows, just book it — you won’t regret it! 💛

This is the best property we have ever stayed in.

Could not fault the property, from the warm welcome we received to the tiniest details, this property had it all. It was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy when we arrived and anything we could possibly have needed was thought off. Absolutely stunning.

Glorious, perfect cottage on the water!

Hazel made sure everything was fantastic and we loved all the attention to detail and coziness of the cottage! We loved the sauna, the views, the patio area in the garden, and the many comfortable touches in the cottage. It was perfect, and the best stay we have had on our entire trip!

There’s a raised black rock platform between the dining table and the toaster walkway out of the kitchen. We kicked and tripped for a few times. Until we moved a basket to the corner that we are aware of the corner without looking down.

Once of the best romantic places to stay in Inverness, with stunning views and a short walk to food.

The location was beautiful. Right on the water as the pictures had posted. The hosts were wonderful and I needed to do laundry and had asked where is the local market and the host said I’ll bring some so you don’t need to go to the store. That was soo nice. Wonderful hosts and wonderful place and location. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean, warm and comfortable. Lovely view. Had a wonderful meal in the North Kessock Hotel just a few minutes walks away. This cottage is a great alternative to staying in a hotel in Inverness; it’s just a few minutes drive away but a quiet peaceful spot. Good communication from the owner too.

An absolute gem of a property - really delightful!

We were delighted with the property - it was really gorgeous inside. Thoughtful items like milk and chocolates had been left. The decor was really beautiful, beds were comfy, showers were excellent. We had a short walk to a really nice meal in a local hotel/restaurant. Thoroughly recommend this place - it was just lovely.
