The property is situated in the centre, very close to the castle. We didn't book a parking space in advance, but we were advised of one, a 2-minute walk from the property, and it cost 8.50 pounds for 24 hours. We were very satisfied with it. The staff was really helpful and kind.

Some improvements in the bathroom would be helpful, such as a towel rack and a shelf.

Room nice, well equipped and clean, bathroom also.

Conmunication variable, sent several messages via booking.com about where to park and had no reply. Couldn’t take breakfast as only started at 9.30 and I had to get work as travelling for business. Room was comfortable other than the very hot weather and a noisy small fan that wasn’t effective at cooling, which I appreciate is only certain times of year

The look, the location. The heat worked well. Be was comfy.

The Castle Room certainly looked good, but several malfunctions ruined it for us. One, the door to our room had a faulty lock, which meant the owner had to send someone to look at it while we waited to go to dinner. This was partially resolved, although the handyman agreed that the lock was faulty and "loose." We had to slam the door super hard and noisily for the handle lock to work. Annoying and bothersome, I would think, for the other tenants. The bathtub, which looks enticing, ran cold water only after less than 2" of tub space was filled with lukewarm water. In other words, no hot water. The sink hot water worked great, except that the entire faucet would not stay still. Instead, it twisted and turned all the time while in use. Almost impossible to use. Finally, the steps to the first floor are super steep and out of compliance.
