Overall we had an excellent time at villa .

We had floating breakfast on our last day and it was amazing. Kids loved jumping in the pool . It was clean and maintained. The kitchen and housekeeping staff were very friendly.

Toilet door lock was not working properly. Hygiene of shower and bathroom can be improved-

Great location but wouldn’t stay in this particular Villa again.

Great location located in the heart of Seminyak with lots of restaurants, cafes, shopping and massages all around. Staff were very friendly and tried their best to make it a positive stay for us. Aircon in the bedrooms is cold (as long as you keep all the doors closed)

Property is tired and in need of a revamp. Furniture is old and pretty dated. Bathrooms are all outdoors and two of the bathrooms offer little privacy as you can see into them between each other. Be pretty weird if you had a few couples staying there together! Only one bathroom has a bench top to put things on. The other two had nothing! You had to put your things on the floor. Shower heads aren’t that great and should be updated/replaced. Bedroom upstairs is on a mezzanine floor so can hear all movement in that room. Staircase is pretty rickety and there is no bathroom for that bedroom. Small TVs that were placed very high up on the wall so didn’t make for great viewing. Not good picture quality either. There are lots of stray cats that hang around in the laneway and often came into our Villa which was OK except for one that made a noise ALL NIGHT and we couldn’t keep it out of the Villa. It would just continuously jump the fence. In the end we had to request the staff to remove and relocate as couldn’t sleep. Breakfast very basic. If you opt for breakfast included be prepared for staff to be at the Villa for hours and hours even if you request a later breakfast time. Staff are very nice though and did try hard to help with every request.

A nice way to close a beautiful holiday

Arrived a little early at the villa so used the opportunity to explore the town centre which is a 2 minute walk. Food places and places to get a massage all within walking distance. The villa was of a high standard for our family. Everything was on point and it bought the holiday to a close in such a fantastic way. Seminyak is a vibrant place and it was the opportunity to do some bargain shopping before heading home. What was a really nice touch was when you pre-ordered your breakfast from the night before, the staff team literally came to the villa to use your facilities to make your breakfast and did an amazing job of cleaning up afterwards., Absolutely YES. We would return to this villa

Outdated Villa - not like the photos. Be aware of all hidden charges.

Overall, male members of staff are friendly and will try and help - the cleaning lady however is not and she screams at you to pay for coffee - this is what caused many of our problems however what I believe to be the main manager (male) was always attentive. Location okay however not in Seminyak centre and 15 mins from beach but lots of restaurants and bars close by anyway that are lovely! I feel I have to give some positive comment but overall it was actually being able to leave!!

Where to start: - Conveniently the card machine does not work so customers have to pay cash upfront or via PayPal where Manguu Villas charge you 5% extra to do so. After speaking to Indonesian Authorities this is extremely concerning that an establishment like Manguu Villas do not have credit card facilities and it has been “broken” since March. Bascially, just a con to get cash upfront as after speaking to another villa owner in Ubud this is what some people do in Seminyak. So basically be prepared to pay all in cash (millions of rhupias) or charged more than your original price to transfer via PayPal. I chose the latter due to security reasons with using my credit card. So please add on extra to the price stated - also management use the highest exchange rate and I was being charged $35 extra until I stated their error and they quickly changed it. - The coffee is chargeable also but they do not tell you this. This became a big problem for us as the coffee machine actually doesn’t work, we tested 4 capsules and it was dribbles of cold water coming out therefore we just went to a supermarket to buy our own. On check in management did not tell us this but on the last day the girl who cleans the villa made a big ordeal of this whilst shouting at us. From here, I just became mad at the way she was speaking to us and refused to pay it. Had they informed us it was extra I would have paid this but nothing was said until check out where the first thing she did was run to the coffee machine and count the capsules then start shouting for payment, I told her I wasn’t paying and she returned with 2 male members of staff as a form of intimidation. Therefore, in summary, all the extras they leave out please be aware they are costly and on check out they will come to you asking for cash payment upfront i.e. coffee, sugar, mini shampoos etc. There’s a supermarket 2 minute walk at the corner where stuff is much cheaper.

The house keepers were absolutely lovely people

The photos of this villa are about 10 years old The bathroom down stairs are not private you can the see the staff on the other side. The other bathroom has a glass panel between them so you can watch each other in the bathrooms, the upstairs room is damaged on the floor and feels like you are goin to fall though The toilet always smells in one of the bathrooms. The safe didn't work up stairs The place needs a refurbishment, the other units there are brand new but the one I was in was absolutely disgusting. Bugs in the lounge room at night so you can't hang out in there, the pool was murky for 3 days. No noise after 9pm. I did send the mangement a msg about all these issue they only looked at the air con. I would never go back to this villa.everything in this villa is old and damaged.

Wonderful time!

We spent a wonderful time with my family at Villa Hard. Beautiful large house, well equipped with a beautiful pool. We will definitely be back.

There is no privacy in the house. The cleaning service walks around the house from morning to noon. We gave up breakfast on the last day to avoid meeting the service, unfortunately it did not help. From the morning the lady wandered around the house. We did not need daily cleaning, daily change of towels, it is a pity that cleaning is not an option that you can choose or not.
